Ooo!, that's cool. I've done much of that but there's still some bits I haven't done, especially around the one they've marked 'Corkscrew'. I've heard the same name applied to other areas though.

Nice to see directions on there too (and that they agree with me on Tank Traps ).

Will save it quick before someone demands it's taken down (there are some picky people regarding trail maps ).

All confirmed, will be me +2 on Sun and I've sorted transport for us. 3 Bikes on the roof of the Aygo tried and tested today! The purchase of said roof rack will mean for future rides I can collect and drive 2 people

Hope weather stays dry, ... otherwise it's a hardtail run. Really need dry singletrack, would love to see how fast it goes against Supraman's Enduro. Shame Thel33ter isn't riding with Cooldad ... as they are good benchmark too. Cold weather doesn't bother me really, but rain for FS is a bad news. Seems my Tuesday CRC order screwed up 'cos of Volcanic ash again* ... really need a better front tyre.

No full suss rig for me hardtail all the way, and a flipping heavy one at that, crap at uphill and ragged as hell down.

I'll set off early and hopefully get there by 9.00, popstar has my number if i'm running late. Forks should be fitted tomorrow morning I hope

What like him at the front and me at the back? I'm hurt and insulted!

Hope the weathers good too, we have the Woking Bikeathon, but doing it on roadies, much easier with big smooth wheels. And I can wear lycra tights, just to embarrass Thel33ter.

We'll make it next time though, love to try all four in one go, probably kill me but what the hell..

Try for something next Sunday?

Bungalistic is the one to watch for speed going down, while it would be hard to keep up on uphills with Greg. Think Thel33ter would give him run for his money, want to see Ti bike for the first time in my life! Never 've seen one in flesh.

Not sure if i'm going to be able to make it, local shop don't do any workshop stuff on a saturday, trying to find an alternative, if not i'll just have to sit this weekend out and wait till next weekend instead.

well how hard is it to fit a fork... if the star nut is in you could do it your self.
or call up some other shops i did that once and others were ready for a fe quid to do the job... its not like it ll take them an hour or 2.

Not sure I'd be up for the NS bits though. They look okay until they end in a drop/jump. I wimp out at the best of times on the slightest jump . Raised NS tends to freak me out for fear off dropping of the sides. Daft as I have no problem when it's barely raised.

Anyway, anywhere around where they were going to drill for oil? I heard there were trails at threat from that if it had gone ahead.

Would love to check it out anyway.

Star nut is easy, just screw an old brake pad in and tap it in with a hammer, holding onto the pad. If it starts going skew just turn the pad and tap that side. Takes two minutes.

That mangrove trail looks like fun, I noticed some chicken runs next to the big drop offs for wienies. And me.

How was it, On the Bikeathon I rode with the group a bit but then it got overtaken by a small girl on a BSO, so I dropped it with Cooldad and 2 other guys for most of the route.

hmm beer 5 hours sleep not good combination for all day epic..... but was still there.

arrived 8 30 am left at 6pm with popstar. we did all 4 hills nice group, good fun, I was doing really dodgy riding always loosing the rear... going sideways down the black run
popstar aka "the bike pimp" did some weird things on yogurt pots.... you'll see on the video. if he doesnt cut I did keep my distance .

feel i've done more uphill than downhill....

only bad thing is that kid doing dirt jumps we found with a dislocated shoulder... :shock:

next time ill be ready to take on the zesty... 8)

Sorry couldn't make it...again! Bloody work getting in the way of my pleasure, how dare it. Well, credit card won't pay for itself. Hope you's had a good ride, next weekend I'm off to Wales for the CRC Enduro, hopefully I won't die.
