Plaisir, Transport wise my car should be ready Saturday at last. And it’ll be big enough to put to bikes in.
But if you have to be back at 4, I will probably drive myself for this time.

What time shall we start 9 am or earlier. All 4 hills popstar.
Ill order some spare tubes I think just in case.

So for the Moment on Sunday ride:

    Popstar
    ATZ
    Plaisir

Ok, start time as many request 8.30-9.00 at Walking Bottom* carpark. Route would be: -Pitch hill-Winterfold-Pitch hill all known trails (1.5-2hours+ of riding) break at Peaslake, second part -Holmbury-Leith-Holmbury all known trails ( 3-4hours of riding ).

Bungalistic,Immike, Smallred, Agg25, DKenny, Fatfredycat, Cooldad+ ... you guys hanging around forums? If so, fancy to join epic ride?

First part of route would be slow/steady to build up some heat ... I guess second part would do some people business.

Hmph, got the Woking bikeathon with the school club on Sunday, otherwise I would have to do a parade at school (seriously, in tartan pattern trousers and a marching band in kilts  )

This sounds much better but me and cooldad are unfortunately out of this one, definately gonna make a Sunday epic soon :)

    Lurking here
Normally Thel33ter and I would be there like a shot, but it's the Woking Bikeathon this Sunday.
We'll be doing our good deed for the year raising money for Leukaemia research.
    Next time.

Always gets in first. I'm getting slower everyday.
Careful or I'll post a pic of you in marching blues. Ruin your cred forever. Haha

There's some maintenance of BKB scheduled for Sunday morning, so I don't know if that means it'll be closed while they work on it?

It seemed fine on Monday, unless they are getting rid of that jump. Bit of a pity really, it's quite a good one.

Will report back on conditions of Surrey Hills after this Thursday ride. Missing Pitch hill trails really, ... Supra, any words from Stanes crew? Dkenny, it seems we going to have some large group ride. Could you take your camera, there certainly would be many shiny bikes to picture! I even think Gregsd if he shows up, will get his Ti attention seeker!!!

After today's ride ... Good Lord, there is so much of crazy speed on trails! Pitch hill trails flowed beutifully. Managed to come off YogPots corner flying off at 45* angle and obviously crashing on my head, you just can't land like that onto a dip! Then BKB, if I didn't have powerful brakes, think I would kill myself flying off the hill, luckily tree has stopped my head again on some Leary moment afterwards. My shoulder is sore now, but there is so much of speed on trails? I finally started getting some nice air, and rarely using any brakes at all. At least I found limit of the bike grip wise, just sitting and waiting for minion* to arrive any time soon.

Plaisir was sessioning YogPots and BKB too, and as a first timer, I think was pleased.

    God, what a day?!

Minnions, nice what size are you taking 2.3 or 2.5?? You did nt order the super tacky I hope, or there you will build legs of steel, but pick up so much speed going down any thing. minnion 2.5 are same size as my specialized 2.3 and 2.3 minnions look like other 2.1s

I was actually thiking of putting them back on to get used to them again …

You should may be change helmet and get a specialized deviant…. and some body armour... wander what ll happen to you on big slopes...
So now you don’t think your bike is over kill.
We will have a lot faster videos and more action in them I guess

The unofficial jump has gone already

    http://hurtwoodtrails.co.uk/2010/04/26/bkb-repairs/

But there are other little bumps along there which I believe are considered sanctioned.

Anyway, specified further maintenance shortly so that's probably what Greg means (Greg - or others, are you on the volunteer list then?).
