My rollers are in the basement, which doubles up as a recording studio, so there's acoustic treatment, drum kits, amps etc down there.
First off, i've got to show you my sound system AKA a giant bass amp:
Next up, there's my 3 fans (only 2 visible here) and old bike races on my laptop to keep me going. The fur on the wall does serve an acoustical purpose, it's not just there to make the room look good!
After my ride today, I got someone to take a pic of me suffering during some Tabata intervals! As you can see, if I fall off, i've got a drum kit and spare bike to fall on, so it's probably breaking all kinds of health and safety rules. Apologies for the dork disc - they're not my wheels!

Why do you wear shades on the turbo, indoors? :?0 -
3 very powerful fans are worse for your eyes than cycling outside. It feels like i'm on an 80kph descent continuously!0

V nice.
Do you put the fixie on the running machine? You could then try to outrun the balls in the mirror like in The Prisoner.0 -
-
Yeah, I don't usually wear them. Like I said, it was after a ride. I just needed to empty the tank for 10 minutes.0

Sod the wheels it looks like you've got a ponytail...now that IS something to apologise for.. If you haven't...I apologise0

When tied back properly, it gives similar aero properties of a pointy helmet.
Well, I like to think so anyway.0 -
I've been trying to work out which speakers these are.
They look familiar hi-end jobbies, but really not sure which make.
Enlighten me!0 -
They look like B&Ws. Also, there would be less standing waves and phase cancellation (more bass) if they weren't parallel to (and further away from) the wall.0
-
Look nothing like B&W's.
Maybe older Wilson Audios?
Much would depend on rear porting - it there is none then they can sit close to a rear wall.
A little toe-in usually helps too.0 -
Your stem looks like it has Brewers droop!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That cant be comfy.0 -

They are Focal Diva Utopia Bes.
They are fine close to the wall but when I'm having a listening session they come away about a foot.
Toe in doesn't improve anything. In fact it would be difficult to improve anything!0 -
I wish I was bhima.0

A polka-dot wrap on the seatpost? White tights? Now they must get a bit messy in the winter? Bhima- you have a lot to learn...0

Then I should NOT tell you about the Living Voice of Long Eaton.
I have a pair of Avatars.

Do not look if you have a love of hi-fi and a wallet looking to shrink in size!0 -

I've heard them and the OBX ones.
Not really my cup of tea.
That said, it was on the end of some Audio Note stuff which is shocking!0 -

I was wondering that. I think it's some kind of conveyor belt that a friend or loved one can place various consumer items on so the person training on the bike can practice 'The Generation Game' whilst pedalling.0 -

I have to share the room with my missus, who is an elite runner. I have no part of it...
She made me set it slighty ahead of the turbo, so if we are both training at the same time, she is always winning!Complicating matters since 19650 -
