That's no BSO, that's the most awesome thing I've ever seen. Not only that, but I can actually see it working really well and being a LOT of fun. Possibly overkill for the British winter though.0 -
Saw a strange BSO type hybrid in Keynsham today. Dual crown forks and 26" front wheel on a 20"wheel BMX frame. Couldn't get my phone out of my pocket quick enough for a pic.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

+1, that rocks big time
Now if I were a Canadian resident I'd sure have one of those in the garage!0 -
No you wouldn't
it's just an upgrade kit for any fs bike with particular axle combos...0 -

^ agree with the awesomeness of that. Particularly like the fact they've left the front brake in place.0

Funny but I have the exact same in the garage from a pile of bits I bought, as its at least 3 years old I suspect this BSO has been gathering dust for a while.
Not sure about high tensile steel frame, but high weight it sure is!

The children....WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN!!!!
Forced to ride around on 30lb behemoths from the age of 6. Nice. :shock:You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.0 -

Keeps the little buggers fit though
I bought my lad a British Eagle bike about 8 years ago... damn thing weighs more than his current full size bike. And this BSO POS was bought from a reputable LBS.

how can the wee ones learn to ide on full sus's
i learnt to ride on a rigid single speed (apolo)
had a 24 speed hardtail (giant)
another wateva speed hardtail ( merida)
8 speed hardtail (giant)
then a full sus 28 speed (carrera)
full sus's shouldnt be availiblr to those with very little riding skill as without the knowledge of riding a bike it can be hazardous
all though i saw this last week and nearly bought it and upgraded the forks to dj 1's and fox spring on back
a lil ri[ers freeride slopestyle bike :twisted:0 -

Correct me if I'm wrong here but most of the cheapo FS BSOs have such bad shocks little 'uns would have to be morbidly obese or pulling 6ft drops to get any action from the suspension. On the kiddy FS bikes I've seen the shock is simply dead weight.0 -
i sat on it and pedaled it, the back moves more than on my banshee x and the front was solid =/ would make a good tramp bike or something for resi ramp or foam pit0
-
its a dead weight hence no use for riding and some dads spray crap loads of wd40 or gt85 on em to get em moving and they move like greased up weasel cum for a couple of days then fall apart or seize solid so a kid try's doing something sitting down and brakes his cocckyz0
-

I have no idea what this means, but it sounds painful.0 -
the fused vertabrae at the base of the spine that are the remnants of our sily mole tale thing
5 vertabrae fused together and if you brake it its 5 weeks in a butt cast in a wheel chair0 -
