Here we go then chaps & chappesses... all aboard the Fabian Express.

Only one Spaniard riding? Keeping the powder dry for the Road?

Mind you that is Jose Ivan G. and he's in the first group out so if it rains later on

Not likely I know, but how else we gonna keep up interest in this done-deal?

He's the big favourite but who knows, he could be on a bad day. Someone like Larsson always does suprisingly well and Wiggo has been on the up.

It's stacked in Cancellara favour, with Larsson and Wiggins 1 and 2 minutes ahead on the road. Plus he's at home, plus he's the best...........

I totally agree Cancellara is the favorite and being at home etc. but shoot me down for saying this if you want but I really think Wiggo is going to win it.

I am prepared for the ridicule by the way once Cancellara wins by a mile

Eurosport have yet to figure out why he's all ripped and scuffed up. They are looking and speculating the obvious: that he's had a crash.
How the failed to notice his mouth in both close up and slo mo. :?

they must be looking at a tiny screen. or quaffing wine and not paying attention. looks more like coughing blood to me, he was really wobbly walking to the seats too. big effort

I love the GPS doofer that shows everyone on the circuit.

Pictures have been stunning on Eurosport HD.

That's often the problem, they've got a tiny monitor to look at. Easy to forget when we all have 40 inch wide-screen TVs.

No. I've no idea how these people get and keep these jobs. He seems to know nothing about
anyone. Talks, but never says anything of interest.

I realise there's a lot of dead time to fill in cycling ..... but still .....

I can just "hear" the Black Country accent now.

He's an old school commentator, who's verbal diarrhea is best heard through a noisy PA system, droning on behind the events at a 6-day velodrome or other live event, but sounds OTT in the more intimate environment of TV which, unless something spectacular is happening, is best done with a conversational style.

Wonder if Fab will go through the first check under 11mins?

Looking to develop some interest here...
