I suspect EBH is gonna win the TT. On a unicycle, probably.

    Blindfold.

    This guy?

Funnily enough, he is doing the Eneco Tour!

No Kelsey Grammar. He's heavier. Unless appearing as the Prospector from Toy Story 2; then he's tiny and plastic.

Daaaaaaaaamn, cycling is a cruel sport sometimes. Nuyens caught with, what, 100 metres to go?

    Farrrrrar
    The Hooter
    EBH (!!!!!)
    Weylandt
    Veelers
    Gavazzi

    Boonen? Nowhere.

Best week of Farrar's career id say Vatenfall and two stages of Eneco, not a bad few days work.

I'd agree. He's been threatening to win races for some time now, but keeps coming up against Cavendish and Hushovd. Take them out of the equation and Vaughter's assertion that he's the third best sprinter in the peleton at the moment doesn't look that far off the mark.

He's doing well. Earlier in his career it looked like he was going to be a lead out rider as he was very quick over short prologues. But he's coming on well and is still young.

As said though, he's good but put him against Cavendish and others... although he's one of a select group of riders to have beaten Cav in a race this year.

Well there's more to come for him, this week

    Today, probably.

49 km to go, Romain Villa (Cofidis), Niki Terpstra (Team Milram) et Albert Timmer (Skil-Shimano) have 1'37" advantage. Almost certainly a bunch sprint, I'd say.

    Result of stage 3:

    Boonen
    Farrar
    Chicchi
    Rojas
    Markov
    Goss

First win for Tommeke in the Belgian jersey. Not exactly the most exciting of stages, though.

    Yes! :D

    Very happy with that one!

Fair play to him, it was a good win. Farrar was in the perfect position on Boonen's wheel, but just didn't have to strength to pass him at the finish.

This stage went passed Boonen's hometown. Explains why he was keen to win it.

    Queen stage today:

    profielrit4.gif

3 men out in front with 60 km to go, Terpstra, Honig and Gaudin. 1'15" ahead with Rabo doing the chasing.

At last I actually have some time to watch this.

Grand Prix de Plouay is on this weekend - females today, men tomorrow.
You can watch it here live, although this is probably geo-restricted:
    http://video-direct.france3.fr/player.php?id=523

    The BMX World Cup is also today and streaming here live in crystal quality;

ENECO. 42km to go. Peleton at 15secs.
The rtbf feed is not yet live (will be a 3pm). But you can watch it here:

Starting to get into the really hilly stuff now. Tony Martin is out in the break... just a shame he's already lost 7 minutes.

Wiggins looking strong. Just cruises his way across to a break from Nibali and Monfort.

He's looking very good. He just joined a break with Vansummeren and Chavanel, but it's more or less all back together now. 30 km to go.

    No moves from EBH... yet.

Good stuff from Andrey Amador, bridging up to Chavanel and Bandiera. It's those 3 at the front.

Amador also put in some good performances in Poland.

Ugh, it's gonna be a bit disappointing if there's a bunch sprint at the end of this.

8 km to go, gruppo compatto. Hard luck Chavanel. Front group of maybe 70 or 80 riders, including Farrar.

220km of moderately bumpy terrain and it ends in a sprint. Poor show.

Farrar could well win the overall.

EBH is simply unbelievable. Such a great guy.

I have no idea how that ended in a sprint. Attacks all day, not an inch of flat, no strong teams bringing things back together... yet Farrar still nails it... just.

    Farrar
    EBH
    Gavazzi
    Van Avermaet
    Goddaert
    Rojas

Never thought I'd type the words exciting stage and Eneco Tour in the same sentence but there has been some good racing this year.
  • Great stage, yesterday, even though we had a tightly contested bunch sprint finish.
A pity to see Eurosport do a media blackout of a PT event, in favour of a little 3 day jaunt in Eire.
Yes, the "ego" is certainly raising the sport's profile.....or maybe, it's that Rwandan guy?

Eurosport spent too much of their Budget on that planet armstrong rubish.

40 km to go in stage 5 and it looks like Farrar is out of it. A strong group of 15-20 riders at the front... Nibali, Chavanel, EBH, Rogers, Flecha, Posthuma included. Don't think Wiggins is there.
