    I'm based in Cardiff and looking for some fellow girls to ride with as fed up with riding alone. Used to ride with my partner and his mates but can't now since we've had kids. Is there anyone around??

    Hey,

    I'm new into off-load biking, and I'm mainly interested in xc in and around Hampshire. I'm based in Portsmouth and ride regularly in QECP and Bere Forest, also thinking of making a couple of trips over to the Isle of Wight too! Drop me a message if there's anyone about :)

    You Yorkshire ladies why not try and come to this ride as there are some Leeds people coming and it will be a great way for you to meet fellow Yorkshire peers :)

    Clampham in the Dales on the 15th Jan'12.
    15 mile ride at sociable pace in the scenic Yorkshire Dales. Hopefully the tea room will be open so we can get a cuppa .

    New bike on order so would like some company getting out and about once it arrives..

    Not very fit, and head not in the zone at the mo so will need to get back up to speed so you might have to wait for me...

    Ahoy Jules! I'm based in Leamington, but go to Cannock Chase most weekends for riding. There's also a local XC group that goes around Leamington that's run by the BikeYard peeps - http://www.facebook.com/groups/rlsxc/.

    Hi Mrs T. I have booked in with Cannock MTB Club for a free skills session on the 11th March which will hopefully help me to get to grips with my new bike (assuming it arrives in time). Would be nice to say hi if you are about that day?

    OH came along with Bike Yard guys for a few rides but then defected to Godiva Trailriders as they are closer to home , but they are all a bit fit and fast for me at present and I just wouldn't have the confidence to ride with them :-(

    Hi,

    I'm based in Sheffield and have access to a car. My OH is super talented and fit and after doing the CRC Ruthin marathon in september my confidence has been shot. I'm relatively okay at riding. I can do the Marin Trail fine, and ride regularly at Dalby on the red route (the OH does the black) and am about to go and do the black route up in Glentress :? next weekend, but i'm looking for other girls to out with who are about my level.

    I've also started road riding - so if anyone is interested in the dark side too, please PM me

    Iam from Preston, failry new to MTB, so going cautiously down the trails until I boost my confidence up :shock: - My hubby and I usually do Gisburn , done Llandegla, going to do Preston Guild Wheel in August (22 mile flats and terrain around Preston,Lancashire). I want to improve my MTB skills and going to book a course over the next few months with Mr Ed Oxley - very good MTB skills instructor.
    Anybody from or around Preston?

    I am mid 40s male been MTB about a year now and looking for a biking buddy.

    Im based in Northamptonshire and like to do local rides to keep fit but do go around the UK for a change of scenary.
    I like cannock chase (blue route) and aim to get up to the Lake district and derby dales (ladybower) but feel a bit bored on my own !!
    I also cycle Rutland lake on a regular basis.

    I have a Trek superfly AL 29er and just love getting out on it. I also have a medium van so can just throw the bikes and kit in the back and go!

    Heya ladies - not sure if any of you here frequent FB much, but we've got a pretty big group set up to help people find other ladies to ride with, share lifts to events with etc. (much like this thread really!) :-)

    Hi Guys

    I'm new to the site and still pretty much a beginner and I've only had the chance to go out on the bike with the OH but I'm not confident enoughto do the stuff he does. I really need to get bike fit over the rest of what is left of the year before we go to Vietnam for a cycle challenge. I am looking for any ladies that are of similar ability to me in the South Wales area to go out whether it is to cwncarn or a bit further afield such as forest of dean. :D
