He comes third and you're saying he's not among the best. Mate you are bonkers.0
-
He's best of the rest, but the rest are way behind the top two. It's a little like wrestling a gorilla. You don't quit when you're tired. You quit when the gorilla is tired.0
-
Wiggo is a hero0
-
Chuffed for Wiggo.
WTF is with Liquigas? Why no help from Glen Close and Kreuziger for Nibali. Assholes. It's a little like wrestling a gorilla. You don't quit when you're tired. You quit when the gorilla is tired.0 -
Another great ride from Roche too. He surely HAS to get snapped up by a better team...0
-
Epic ride wiggo!0

Bit of an anti-climax stage for me. All that hype about this stage was going to seperate the men from the boys, but when it came to the crunch, nobody in the top six wanted to gamble on an all-out effort for GC gain. They simply defended... :?================

Just as the leading three in GC went round the last corner Contador said something to LA and gesticulated rather firmly. Any ideas what that might have been about?0

did anyone else see wiggo fall to the ground after that??
   :shock:0 -
He pistol shot lances head0
-
Good job Lance, this way to your helicopter0

Andy - strongest rider on the day - brilliant attacks - great to watch - congrats to Brad for 4th overall.
Andy showed again, that he can match Bert - the 2 best riders in the world.0 -

Maybe. Kreuziger did help him lower down the climb. Towards the top i dont think that it would have made a difference to the overall. Kreuziger did jump up a few places to 9th with that ride.0 -

I have to disagree. The best of them are Andy who was waiting for Frank and Bertie who was waiting for Lance.
Both are a class above everyone else and could have left the rest of the big boys for dead.
Agreed - Andy and Alberto were head and shoulders above the rest - they could have done more.0 -
Bertie's cap0
-
Contador looked like he was suffering in the final few kilometres - fair play to him. Lance performed well for a 37 year old.0
-
I like Alberto, but he really need to lose the hat.0
-
Pelezotti - good effort - Tony Martin - brilliant for a lad.0
-
Tony Martin's face on the final 10 km - "total silence" - priceless - everything goes quiet - brilliant ride from the lad - good future ahead.0
-
SHOW ME THE POINTS!...SHOW ME THE POINTS!Half man, Half bike0
