Col du Platzerwasel - we're here - will the weather disrupt any attacks - hmm.

    "No, after you"

The riders are all being very polite, waiting for someone else to attack.

Pace is harsh. Wiggins is out the back.

    Pellizotti is of the front.

Gerdemann is about to be caught.

With these rain jackets blacking the race numbers, a big rider may be able to attack without the others knowing really who...

Haussler's St Moritz training sessions seem to be paying off.

FF - Millar is out the back, not Wiggins.

Anyone think there'll be an attack by Schleck/Evans on Col du Firstplan? Will it be successful? It'd need to stay away for another 10-12 km after coming off the mountain.

Who were the two Cervelo riders dangling off the back when Armstrong pushed the pace on?

Over the Col de Platzersnoozal, with no attacks.
Armstrong looking mean and tough on the front.
If I didn't know any better, I'd say he was working for Bertie. :?

Legendary. Turned on the ITV red button when the break came on Europsort to be told by Paul that Tom Steels won Paris Roubaix this year.

But then again - did we really expect any major attacks on the Fat Weasel?

Firstplan will be the last chance!

Wiggins back on as are quite a few people including Voigt and Cancellara. The pace cannot have been that high. Feillu on the attack again, now with Txu...

Chavanel taking it cautiously so Haussler has a gap.

Conditions to bad to attack, both uphill and holding it when going downhill.

Versus is going to go commercial free starting at the bottom of the Col du Firstplan. They've done this for every stage's "main" mountain they've hit so far - really cool. Are they doing this in the UK too?

I understand he gets training plans from Dr Michele Ferrari too.
