I cant stand the jokes related around his affairs with boys.

People come on here and elsewhere saying how dsgusting it is and its good he is dead etc, and at the same time making the issue light hearted by making up jokes.

I really dont think its a laughing matter at all.

The worse the so called joke the badder the sastard telling it, of course if they took a good long steady look in the mirror and repeated all their very casual unsubstantiated accusations, I wonder how many of them would make them wince.

The old but perfectly true saying "if you can spot it you've got it" springs to mind.

I'm not a fan of MJ, but is it not possible that the families were just trying to screw some money out of him?

After all, the second case he was found no guilty and the first one they were happy to take the $$$$$.

End of the day, he was never convicted of child molesting, however strange the rest of his life was.

He packed a lot into those 50 years, but even more tragically, his nose and chin were only in their early twenties.

I'll take that as an invitation then!

    He was rubbish.

Like other very famous people ,his death brings out the chronicly bitter stupididity in an awful lot of people, in pointing this out my point will be driven home by those very same people replying in froth fingerd fury.Good.They nearly always pick their target in such a way as to have some innuendo to use as a smokescreen for their vindictive hate driven agenda, the real agenda is that they want others to feel as bad as they do, deep down, on a daily basis.

People, who specialise in harming the ideas/feelings/beliefs of others just so they can extract a bit of pain at no expence to themselves. Well I'm sorry to have to inform you but your need to to behave in that fashion proves, without any other input needed, your own private(now made public) desperation to try to make others feel worse than you do yourself. The internet is swarming with these diseased minds who feel they are owed a few pain killing sessions at the expence of others but it will always come back to haunt you.Enjoy, temporarily.

You don't seem to understand your own use of termiology but you include yourself in the People paragraph by your reaction. This is turning into a very revealing thread. If my righteousness emenated fom you I would be in some trouble. As for pompous , well that is your attempt at undermining what I say , it is interesting how you two name yourselves without my needing to do anything other than cover your personality type. Congratulations for being able, subconsciously able to identify yourselves, remembering that I did say your enjoyment would be temporary, I could add illusory and the possibility that your own make up is slipping.Try using Continental tub cement.

    Very good...

Oh you're being serious, well allow me to retort; you're straight on the case of anyone who attacks you, whilst accusing others of being bitter and stupid!

Why? On what basis are you allowed to call others stupid? Whether you like it or not you are giving the impression that you are pompous and self righteous.

I suppose you feel everyone who makes a joke in poor taste or says that they don't really care has some kind of black hole where the empathy section of their brain is. But truly think about it, the death of MJ is hardly the most tragic news of the week, whilst undoubtedly it's sad, and unfortunate for his fans, the world has far greater problems.

Personally, I think this is the price we have to pay for having 24 hour news channels and media's which need something to fill the pages. Fair enough, he did do some decent stuff (quite a few years ago) he led a strange lifestyle, and some accusations against him still seem fresh in some peoples minds. The outpouring's of grief from people, sometimes from people who have no actual relationship. Apart from owning an album, or reading about them in a lifestyle magazine. Just seems a bit shallow "Look at me, I am more griefstricken than you, and therefore a more sensitive soul!?!?" He was a person and leaves friends and family behind, condolences to them (just in case they read this...) but the world will carry on turning. How many people died of cancer on the same day, were their lives any less precious? No, Bert the factory worker does not sell so well - does it?

Be interesting to see how many million texts flew around. Must have been like New Years Eve for the phone networks!

Hmm... Maybe this is about as much sensible-ish converstation we will get out of this topic, before it's handbags-at-dawn...

Can we just agree on this - his music was VERY popular, and whether you like it or not (I'm a heavy metal fan BTW ) was so universally loved, is one of the largest selling artists to date.

However, he was more than a little bit strange. Regardless of how much you love or hate him, thats certainly true..!

Mods - time to close this perhaps? Anyone else agree, or is it just me...?

 No! That would be heavy handed censorship. On a par with me not being able to buy my bottle of Wolf Blass at £3.99 (which is cheap for a lovely red :D ), because some little tosspot cannot hold his alcohol at the age of 15 in the local park.

You ought to be a politician, kneejerk solutions...but think of the benefits!
