    other things not cool:

    skinny tyres
    long stems
    flat handle bars
    bar ends

    basically anything that helps you uphill that hinders downhill/jumping just isnt cool!
    yes some DH riders use spd's, but only win on the pedally tracks, on the tech bits flats are flat our better

    hey thats my opinion, cool is blasting downhil and doing jumpsl not sweating uphill!

    loving that lapierre and the transition too. getting a zesty in the new year and might buy a transition frame and put all my old kit on it till i can afford new stuff :D how much is that transition frame???

    The TransAM is $569 US according to Sicklines. I'm going to check my local Transition dealer on the weekend but I reckon I could get a fully built TransAM with decent gear for $1500 CDN, and if they can quote me that or less I just might go for it.

    Not sure what the price is in the UK but the way it normally works just swap that dollar sign for a pound sign and subtract 100 and voila! Price converted.
