Mate think of how awesome it will be next year when half a dozen (or more) of us line up in the early hours at the start of the Fray with our RPCC gear :)

You might be in a line, Al and I will be in the TurboPen(tm).

I'm cacking about that already. You can sweep me up when you come past.

Yes and I will try not to start from the pit lane (i.e. from the back) next year

And how gutted will you be to NOT do that again Mike? ;)

I asked Mal last night if he had any 'dark moments' on the DLMC. He said 'many'.
Well the poor chap did ride most of it alone! I didn't have a single dark moment, but then I was with people for pretty much the whole ride 8)

How many years cycling and training have you guys done in order to survive those events.

On a road bike, barely even 1yr so far. But around 15yrs MTBing before that (but I was pretty damn unfit this time last year with a 3-lap challenge time of 72mins+!).

And you've stopped using so much Guiness to train with ;-)

I notice the cake habit is still alive and well though.
The Guinness could be part of my downfall this evening...

But yes, I switched from planning my riding around my drinking, which helped significantly! The cake habit will never die though - I quit smoking FFS, do I really have to quit cakes AS WELL?!!

Tomorrow it is then. Looking forward to it - it will be the new steed's first proper outing (RP notwithstanding...)

We're all remembering the 2pm lions kick off as well, aren't we...

A Guinness to wash down the Guinness cake from parklife is what is needed.

And clearly if I were to use the gift of logic I would realise I can do the 'Worthing to London & back 12 times by both car and train' thing on Sunday...

Game on for tomorrow then, sweet 8)

Are you referring to my Fray incident or did someone else have "tech" issues last weekend?

Also Ryan, are you heading down the same way you left 2 weeks ago (i.e. up Hammersmith).

How does a Winterfold loop sound :?: Would be a good Devil's Ride warm up and those samosas are worth the journey :)

I think Art wants to kill me with the route that he has planned so i'll be taking the easier option and using the overground to get to Richmond to save some much needed energy

II should/hopefully be heading back that way home though :?

You wearing your big gay green jersey tomorrow?

With pride. How about you? Or does it's low alpaca content create issues? :P
