The gap is coming down pretty quickly. Just over 5 minutes on the bunch now.

Sorry, my mistake. I thought this was the Queen stage?

Fausto is spinning in his grave I suspect.

If Garzelli holds on to the end he will have spent 155km off the front, going over three mountains.........

And on Belgian radio yesterday they were saying how there were no "unusual" perforances, no Ricco's in the peleton...
Note: the above post is an opinion and not fact. It might be a lie.

I don't get it. They just roll up a hill, there's complaints that it's not exciting enough. They attack from a long way out,n it must be because they're doped. They really can't catch a break!!

2.40 now. Combination of the bunch riding hard and Garzelli struggling.

Queen Stage = changes on GC, surely? No complaints from me about G, but if Lance is hanging in the Peioton, they must be going way slow

Just a 6.5 km climb plus a short 15% section on cobbles at the finish. Expect some fireworks in the final 20 km.

Liquigas up the gas. Visconti is a deadweight - by forcing G to do all the work he is condemning himeself to defeat.

Actually I think it was Levi I saw. :)

Armstrong doing the usual dropping off the back, albeit later than before.

He's not far behind the leaders. He was with Rogers and Arroyo over the top of the climb.

Can't wait to read what he says about this descent. Oh, wait... damn.

I reckon there's a certain rivalry in the Liquigas team between Franco and Ivan. Could be interesting...

Outrageous stuff from Di Luca. Great, exciting to watch but when you know his past (the links with Santucionne and more), it means you can't believe much of it.

Who is the crabbiest rider, Levi or di Luca? Dunno about bio passport, there should be some sort of stylistic bar to Pro Tour entry.

Say what you will about LA - he kept up there with the leaders all day and didn't finish far back.

Of course he'll need to start another protest tomorrow so he can be well rested for the ITT on Thursday. ;)
