    Mens Road Race: Sanchez.

If Cav comes in now....gutted I will be.
Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever.

    No worries, I saw it.
  • So I lost £75 notes on Contador before the Vuelta even started then won it back with a ton on Valv to then tune of £400 big ones, then those mean people at Evans wanted paying for their Iron Horse Expert that I believed was on borrow (honest) and to boot whilst paying for it on the phone I got nicked for using a phone whilst driving... and lost another £60 not to mention the hike in insurance....
Oh well, Easy come, easy go ...C'mon Cookie, I'm skint again and the kids are back on bread and water. actually there's a spare pot of creatine powder in the garage, they can have that.

Technically, any of the top 5 can still win... so if any of you want to PM me your predictions in order to prevent wheel-suckage, then feel free to do so.

No change at the top. Very few points awarded in Paris-Tours, although 1 race less means that graham56 now cannot win the title.

As for what to do if it's still tied after Lombardy... I don't know. The only tie-breaker I can think of is the number of winners throughout the season.

Might I suggest a dance off might be a better way of doing it? The rest of the top 10 can sit in judgement....

Can we do an unofficial cyclo cross and Six day one?

    Feel free, I need a holiday :P

Well, it was close at the start, it was close throughout the season, and it was very, very close right until the end. It all came down to the World Champion scraping home in 10th place in Lombardy, earning 2 points for FJS and giving him the title of PTP Champion for 2009.

Chapeau to FJS, commiserations to andyp.

Thanks Afx for all the hard work, it's much appreciated.

Congratulations to FJS, he just managed to hold his form when it mattered whilst I peaked too soon and had a terrible close to my campaign. He's a worthy champion, chapeau.

Well done to everyone else too, it was a great season for PTP with more entrants than ever before I think.

Thanks, AFX. Is there such a thing as the scorers curse? I seem to have dropped like a stone in the standings since doing a bit of scoring.
