Call yourself a Yorkshire man
Let's not cancel it just yet and text each other around 4pm as forecasts are quite often wrong, then I'll text Pinnacle Paul.
OK?0 -

I'm not too bad mate, thanks for asking. Still got bit of bruising to the back of my knee, its hanging around for a while....
Went for a little jaunt last night. Set off from Humber Bridge towards Ferriby, then up to Swanland on road, through to Raywell then home via Cottingham. In all a nice 17 mile.
Might take you up on the offer of a ride at weekend. Me and bro are thinking of doing a ride on North Yorks Moors on Sat 8, if your up for it?
That goes for anyone else who is interested (that includes you Matt...) for a ride on the Moors, a week on Saturday.0 -
I'll be out this Sunday if weathers on my side, after my recent York trip i've realised theres a train station in Ferriby... so bugger the 10m ride there haha. I think i still remember that route you took me on Barkey, but if you have a chance wouldn't mind a route :P
Also i should be out a fair bit end of Sept and all of Oct (handed notice in at work).0 -
whilst waiting to get out on my brand new shiney having to go back and wait for another one mtb ive been riding along the info` highway and come across many a mtb site and so i`m asking if any of you do the trail quest events and if so which ones?
paul0 -
Giggs yeah count me in be nice to give the full sus a ride haven't been on it since I went up on the moors with you.
I'm just debating if I should take the full sus to asia there is a trail with 25km of climbing topping out 2,600m above sea level followed by 45km of continuous decent. When you consider the moors tops out at about 400m above sea level that's a lot climbing to do :shock:0 -

Yeah, that is a hell of a climb. Think the highest I have climbed is the 800m in the Lakes and the downhill was definitely worth the uphill.
Saw a program on Extreme with some guys doing the area around Nepal, looked like a bit of a challenge....0 -

No Trail Quests for me. Am sure me and my bro agreed to do a SIMBA Event at Dalby sometime in September, though I can't find it on the net now.0 -

Hi guys, I'm from Leeds but my mum lives at Huggate, only done road rides over there in the past, including cycling there from home. But I'm getting into XC now so would appreciate meeting up over there sometime in the future.
I've got my name down for my first race (brownbacks) so a bit of serious training is needed - and fun of course

I used to get out of the car at Pock and run xc via Millington to Huggate, done most of the walks/runs around there including the wolds way, but as I say no off road biking so yep, give us a shout Paul.
