Yes I will be out Weds evening and I think one or two other will be too. 7 - 7.30pm.

Hey guys, is the wednesday evening ride a pretty regular event? I've moved to the area recently so i'm keen to explore some of the trails. Also, any recommendations for light systems? Mine are prett ancient and have a battery the size of a breeze block.

Hi steved83,

Yes the Weds evening ride is pretty regular, keep an eye on here to find out as it can vary from week to week.

Just come along and join whoever is out and about. Weds evenings 7pm & Sunday mornings, 10.30am, Duke William pub car park.

Lights.....in my opinion you cant beat the magicshine lights, very good value for money...I have been using one for a couple of months....

Hi Steve, welcome to a great area to be in for Biking!

Wednesday nights are quite regular, theres almost alwas someone out a week gets missed every now and then! Sadly i have other commitments on wednesday so ride tuesday and/or thursday too, normally clent hills this time of year as they drain very well!

Let us know on here or the Facebook group when you want to get out and im sure osmeone will be able to show you around!

For lights there's a standard list i/we (me, diy and supersonic) give out if you on the what lights threads. PM me your email address ill forward it on to you! Most of us have been using these lights for a while, Dylan 3-5 years, me 2-3 years, Sassy coming up to a year now, with Mounty getting some HK lights a few months back too! All with no issues im aware of!

Why "lightening king"?

Hadn't ridden at Wyre for ages and bumped into a guy i know whoe works at speed cycles in Bromsgrove. Souns like we hardly know any of the good stuff Wyre has to offer, must start to do every second Sunday up there i think. Going to Llandegla this weekend for thrash!

Yeh...he will bore you to death with lumens!!

You definitely should come out more often...give us a shout anytime and i'm sure one of the group will show you around....are you local ?...i'm sure i've seen your wifey somewhere before...if you join the facebook group " Wyre forest MTB trails" ...most of the rides will be sent out to you, it's sometimes a little easier than trawling though Turveys endless ramblings!!
