    Yes, the forecast for tomorrow evening is supposed to be awful, but they might be wrong......... and the sun will shine through ! :wink:

    May have a problem...have broke my mount for light! And need someone to check my bike for me .... Came a cropper and now my brake are dragging not sure if i've damaged the front wheel....although saying that it seems to ride ok

    Bent the rotor no doubt Sassy, loosen the bolts on the caliper, squeeze the lever hard and tighten them back up see if that sorts it.


    Can I come play tomorrow ?? Not sure I'll be back in time.

    If Moggy hasn't got any spare mounts you can pinch mine I'll lash my lights on with Inner tube old school.

    A bit of rain wont bother me although I guess things may be be getting a bit squelchy now. Nowhere near as good as last weeks bone dry trails.

    I am getting more blonde as we speak ( the hair dye is coming out now)

    I wil buy some lights , its just a time thing ..

    though on my mountiian biking list of things to do it is below getting my front forks fixed, getting a new missing bit from my front skewer so my wheel doesnt wobble at speed.

    top priority is buying an inner tube I owe someone. are you riding tomorrow ?

    I am in urgent need of a PA/ life assistant thing. Dyl, if you wear your light tights ' you may be in with a chance...

    ps. Bmw in the garage again :-(

    pss. Im racing on the 5th of september so I need to be nagged ot fly down hills faster and force more pain on the ups..

    Well while you lot were having a conversation about Dyl's tights some of us were enjoying a slippy ride in the forest, a few tumbles and slides, and even a 1 hander by me (unintentionally).

    The trails really aren't that bad. Anyone with race kings on, id change them! Tip - go through the middle of the puddles the grounds harder underneath than the surrounding mud!

    Have a good ride! Let me know if you need any mounts etc, i have a velcro mount spare if anyone needs it!

    Race Kings are suprisingly good on the rear on the front there suicide as lack of side knobs = no steering.

    There's rain and there's rain and it is bucketing it down here in the Wyre. If I were you I would cancel the ride tonight, if not, bring a set of dry clothing to change into otherwise you will be very chilly after you get back! Have fun.

    Nobody turned up (but I was 10 mins late) so I did a quick loop....it actually wasnt raining as bad as it was in the afternoon.
