Long Mynd, provisionally Sunday 12th, as most people seem to be able to ride Sunday rather than Saturday. :)

    should be there for 7.15.
    Crashing hard since 94...
  • Nice wet muddy ride over at Clent last night, thanks to Sassy and Mick (just typed Muck!!!)

My rear tyre choice was a bad one though - still got the racer on it from sits. Ended up on my arse a few times thanks to those slippery roots

Wish I was there for that Miss G, haven't got anything else which fits in my FS's frame other than the Race King slight issue there.
  • This seems a bit cheeky as it's one of my first posts on this forum but wondered if any of you local guys and girls could help me out.

Whilst bleeding my avid juicy 5's today I have lost the bleed screw from within the banjo bolt on the calliper and wondered if anyone on here had a spare one off some old juicy 5s as I'm looking to ride up the forest tomorrow and can find a grub screw to fit in Kidderminster and obviously can't order off Internet in time :(

If you can help please PM

    Many thanks
    Matt

I've got a J5 here with a bust piston you could knick the part from not riding tomorrow well till later but you could pick the J5 up in the am if you want, I'll PM you my number.
  • Big Thanks Turveyd38 for helping me out :D

Can go an enjoy the delights of a soggy muddy wyre forest later hopefully.

Was over there at 9.30...missed Mounty's group as I overslept, and couldn't hang around for the 10.30 crew, so had a nice solitary bimble on the 29'er SS.
Won't be riding until Friday daytime now...
    Crashing hard since 94...

Cheers missgroover & co for the ride on Sunday, nice to do a fast one !

Good to meet Mr Groover, hope it wasnt to slooooow for him! ;-)
  • That's the sort of pace we tend to keep (yes I am usually behind on the climbs!) so he was a happy bunny :) Does have the ability to race off if encouraged or if riding with a certain group (Camerone for one!) so you could always offer him a challenge next time
  • Got no car this week so not out evenings
But off to the Black Mountains Sat so that'll make up for it!
