Operation stop the CREAK going into effect :)

I'm going to Chemical Metal the lower pivot point so it can't move then it can't creak or snap the link cause there won't be 1 or annoy me ever ever again :)

It's a cunning plan, place your bets on it actually working :)

    Scotland dates;

Sassysarah has told me that the week starting 24th July is looking good for a few people, sound ok ?

May be sort out a starting point & a camp site then take it from there ? I'm easy and just tend to go with the flow, unless anyone wants to do something specific ?

It should be ok with me, although July can be an awkward time with work...

    Chris & Co -

I will be riding the Wyre a bit earlier tonight than 7.30pm. I will be in there around 6.00pm onwards as I need to back home for 8.30pm.

So I will meet up with you guys somewhere in the Wyre. :D

MP, sorry on Clent, do you want me to text you rides as it does get a bit confusing.

No chance on July for me already got a week in N.Wales climbing and riding booked up, can't afford to skive for 2 weeks.

Should be okay, left arm and back are playing up so no climbing for me this weekend :(

to ride the Chase on Friday or not is the question.

Bike is botched, no longer a I-Drive it's a 1990's URT design, we'll see if it holds no creaking is good, other than from the seat :( new seat Saturday :)

Sassy when there aren't many there 1 day you'll have to lead a ride only way you'll start to learn your way around just incase.

Not on FB yet but looks like I will have to sort it so posted again on here to make this thread even more complex (sorry Muddypuddle)

Here's a link to the campsite that me and Mand have stayed at last year

    http://www.llynrhyscampsite.co.uk/

Just a 10 min ride to LLandegla MTB centre and more importantly a short walk across the road to the pub which offer good selection of Ale's and cook a fine curry dish well allsorts really that’s just my choice. One thing though if we decide that this is the place to stay then we need to book as soon as possible what with it being Bank Holiday etc.

Downside is there is only the one shower but its clean and warm it just means you may have to hang out outside a while with your towel chatting to your fellow neighbor.

GB - MG is helping so isn't riding. He will be there on the day to help newbies out with advice etc. There are some excellent bridleways to ride - (trying to convince you to ride) - go on, give it a go! You will need to register (free) online to get a registration number before you can enter. Free cake at the end

Sassy/Turvey - I'll be in touch when I'm free. Might try next Tuesday evening - but no promises. Then I'm away for a week. Will try a Thursday daytime ride when I'm back. Thanks.

I see there was a lot of Forum chat while we were in the Wyre last night!

We clocked just short of 15 miles, longest night ride in a long time for us!

Just me Rob and Debs, we kept our eyes peeled, couldn't see anyone waiting at Vc so went straight off.

Mick we noticed all the logs over garlic way, the jedi-garlic link was still pretty badly logged up. Along garlic had little bits of broken log keep spitting up off my tyres into my legs and frame.

i think a walk over there is in order to get the logs cleared well away from the trac so its not easy for them to put them back!

Who's up for friday then, so far, its Me, Rob, Dan and Debbie! Anyone else?

I cleared a few logs last night, but I was in a rush to get back for 8.30. I did see a small group in there. I was in there from 6.30 to 8.30.

It seems to getting worse, idiots.....I will be walking the dog this weekend, so I will have a walk around it....

Not going to make the monkey friday night, the shower is playing up and I have someone coming to take a look, another time. Cheers

Sorry Moggy, bike was still in bits being chemical metaled.

Should be on for Friday at the chase, need to test the bike today though.

Garlic Link on Sunday, was nothing we couldn't ride around or over they been out blocking it again ?

MP sorry I didn't think to text you about last night...was a fast one though.
Have a very sore shoulder today from the my spill in the Camber :(

Were we getting worried, its not normal for you to be more than 10-15 seconds behind on the camber so we were about to come looking!

The off was a shame as you had been folloing the wake of 2 downhiilers on 140mm bikes on your little hardtail, doing pretty well i must admit, when i followed you down the Jedi i didn't really want to go much faster it was nice to follow someone for a change!

Rest up toinght ready for tomorrow night. Should be a warm one with temps upto 25ºC during the day!

Sassy i think its about time you womaned up and led the ride by yourself. LOL.

Was out from 6:30 to 8pm. Don't worry Missgroover - I wasn't up for a fast ride. Just getting over a stinking cold and needed a pootle! Did Pepsi Max - really fast and pleased with myself cos I finally (after 3yrs) rode the two climb ups from the dips - woohoo. Did the Camber too but didn't see anyone I knew. Saw a large group and a small group of three and one chap who was riding round soooo fast without a helmet - he was keen - going like the clappers he was! Catch up with you all soon. MissGroover - are you there on Sunday? Emma is hoping to fly tomorrow and still wants to do it.

Bike Mod's held upto riding down some steps and bouncing around in the street so looks good, abit less rebound and compression damping and rides the same from what I can tell so SORTED )

Yeah Sassy let me have a lie in on a Sunday :)

Dunno on Cannock yet, might be doing the Snowdon Horse shoe on Saturday, less scrambly than Tyrfan.

I broke Mand to on Tuesday where doing well, how's the bruises Mand ??

50/50 here Bails, look for a big triangle grass section on Google Maps.

Come off the Rugely Road take the Left over a bridge, then go Right up Brindle Heath Rd, go up there 2 - 3 miles then look for a right which is nearly back on itself thats Marquis Driver they will be down there on the right.

    Due north of Hednesford.

Marquis drives the road by the walkers car parks, when you go to cannock you probably go along the long straight road (With 40 signs and deer warnings) that bears left then turn right for the Normal bike car park, Where the road veers left (end of straight bit) you turn right, almost back on yourself, we'll be parked up along there on the left. Ws12 4pw, will get you close!
