Never had a problem with my battery so far!

Yeah, there's definitely something wrong with mine. The battery lasts 20 minutes at best and one minute of video takes up around 100mb, rather than the ~25mb that it should be.

Only problem i had was all the little tags snapped off that hold the camera in the cradle thing, a bit of velcro sorted that.

I do find the files are a bit large. There is a way the same as your meant to set the date up to reduce it i think. The files are larger than on my iphone but not so good quality. Strange.

do you get the blurry paintbrush effect in really dense woodland?

have you used the sound activated mode yet?

All files & formats work on the principal....that the better/higher the quality the larger the file.

As there are so many file types, they can vary from one to another. Does the camera have multiple options or settings, or is it just a fixed camera?

Mark, I am sure you know this/ checked it, but shorter battery life and larger files than expected might be down to highest quality setting within the camera?

I have not looked at the camera, so in the dark on its spec etc....

What kind of file sizes are you getting?

Slightly, I guess it's because it's dark and it's having to do the video equivalent of increasing the exposure time on a 'still' camera. (Can you tell I'm an expert )

Haven't bothered with the sound activated mode yet. I'm still trying to figure out the best way of mounting it, so it's normally somewhere on the bike where I can see it and press the buttons easily.

I think it's a bit twitchy on the handlebars, whereas putting it on the frame makes it much smoother. But I don't want to bodge a way of fixing it to the frame by butchering the mounts, in case the seller wants them back if/when I return it.

There's no way to set the vidoe quality settings, as far as I know.

There's no screen on the camera because it's so small, just 3 buttons. One for power, one to start/stop recording and another to switch between normal and noise activated recording modes.

Cheza, take it and merge the 2 if needs be ofcourse. I can swap parts for you if your stuck.

I thought there was a lot of posts, just KonaLisa with finger trouble, can drag out The Peaks Again crew and find a not to technical route, be warned though the peaks is HARD WORK lots of pushing and serious climbs it's always a killer and expect 25+ miles :)

Got to go up ASAP so weekend after the Welsh trip to get a new rear shock of a mate, unless he comes to wales for a day.

You were obviously too far ahead, just like at Cannock. There's a long shot of Neil's bum at the start for you all to enjoy. I left it in because you can hear (I think) Mand pretty much calling Dyl fat!

Just checked my diary, I am house sitting from Friday 20th Aug until Thursday 26th Aug, I do need to be there as I am looking after, 2 cats, chickens and some fish!

Thats a shame :( ......not sure what other people are doing....

How are you fixed for sometime in July?

I am trying to be as flexible as possible as I always struggle to find other people to go away with as a riding holiday...last year I ended up going solo....it was good, but would have been great with company!

I'm sure you could leave them. The chickens and fish might not be alright, but at least the cats won't go hungry!
