  • I went over on the old railway line so bad on Sunday I had to walk most of that on the side and the same going up the main fireroad, took my route to the right and tree works ruined it couldn't get into the normal section I ride :(

    Sunday morning is possible.

Might see you on Sunday at 10am. Should be a good ride as the forest is "closed" so we will be able to ride all the cheeky trails without any interruptions.

We clocked just under 15 miles yesterday....felt like a few more than that ! ;-) A good ride though!

More snow and more to come yet, if anyone is up for a ride in it...... ?

Glen (or anyone else) if you struggle for riding on Sunday's, give me a shout and we can sort something out for a Saturday...
  • Yes enjoyed the ride will be up for another maybe the weekend if the conditions stay the same :D

nope - blew my ear drum last year so no more ding for me ! got a house in bromsgrove with the girlfriend just before xmas - and skiddy dragged me out on the bike for the first time in a year and a half over to cannock -really enjoyed it, so decided to get back in the saddle - as the girlfriends parents heard about this, they got her a bike for xmas (as they are big into their road cycling / tandem!) hence looking for some beginer routes over the lickeys

Clent stays non muddy much better, theres also a little route i could show you in some woods in redditch if you need something nice and easy.

Assuming you have a nice phone as you always did, join endomondo and have a look at the routes on there?

The Wyre is still tops for riding too!

Just Stay away from bandstands this time!

nope i have a rubbish phone nowadays - the joy of a mortgage and little spare £££

my freeride / trials / jumping of bandstand days are defo behind me, but route in reditch sound like a plan.

im waiting on my new bike - which i should get next tuesday - but would be good to meet up soon - im planning on doing cannock quite a bit, so can always share driving ?

I am usually around on most Saturday morning's, but not this weekend, sorry.

Dont forget your waders, the mud is really bad and with more rain forecast....you would be better off with a kayak!
