    Hi Folks

Don't forget - this Sunday, Clee Hill Village Car Park at 10:15am for a very prompt start at 10:30am. Route about 3 hours. Wrap up warm cos there's gonna be one heck of a wind chill factor up there. Don't forget your water proof gloves for a snow ball fight -

    C ya there folks.

ps: chocci cake on offer if you're bike is decorated 8)
  • Where exactly is that MP, rarely go up there so tempted.

IF I come, I'll bring chocci cake for all that don't decorate there bikes :)

Turvey - go past The Duke for about a mile, turn right towards Ludlow, pass through Cleobury, Hopton Wafers, Doddington. Over the cattle grid and follow the road over the common. As you leave the common to come into Clee Hill village there is another cattle grid, go over this and turn immediately left into the car park.

You will be glad that most of the climbing is done in the car

    C u there.
  • Thanks, should be okay only ever driven over there, so would be interesting.

It'll suck if it's windy though.

Head towards ludlow until you see a big group of bikers stood by cars on your left. Stop and Join them!
  • Ahhh instructions I can vaguely possibly understand :)

Going to Ride with Dave after Wyre or Clent 3ish I guess, if anyones interested!

OT. Moggy, Cars been PERFECT today since my tweaking, not hesitated once, well except for the entire flat battery not starting this am :(

The weather is looking good for Sunday, ground is hard due to recent frosts and there is no snow (yet!). C ya all tomorrow.
  • Well it snowed abit here but only a few mm's, which could turn into a inch maybe on the tops, just enough to make falling off probable but not enough to stop it hurting :)

    See you there!!

The access road to Llandegla is closed due to ice which means the centre is closed too, athough trails are rideable. It might be an idea to check with the centre before travelling to Llandegla or have a Plan B ready when you arrive :P
  • Thanks MP!!!

That sucks, looking like snow big time in coming here Tuesday could make getting back slow and tricky!! :(

I will be around for most of this week, although having just seen the weather forecast, travelling might be a bit difficult :-( .....wait and see....

If we get any snow, I will be up for a bit of play time in it ... :-)
  • Yeah travel does look kinda foolish saying that I'll likely go to the Malverns as that gets the snow better than around here.

Anyone around tomorrow for a ride?
  • Ill, been over doing the riding and rear wheel Quano hub ( hey I was desperate ) died with only 2 rides on it so thats going back!!

Shame on the lack of snow, watch out for the compacted sheet ice everywhere still it's a PAIN!!

The ice in the wyre is a little on the dangerous side today, as I found out.. ;-)

I came off the bike on the family trail of all places, just total ice....but it looked like slushy snow & water....until I hit it...

Cant ride tomorrow, but I will be out riding over the weekend if anyone is around.....

Anyone up for a New Year ride on Sunday morning ? :-)
