Yup - booked up for the next 3 Saturday, can do 3rd October.

Conditions in there are perfect at the mo - the trails are so dry and fast. But don't tell anyone
  • Roger old chap, I prefer not to as I see mates that day and sleep in more than normal, but for you a old BMer I might make a exception if you can make it early am!!

Thanks dudes, was fun in a scared can't ride for pizza kinda way, Mounty better be atleast 10,000ft of climbing on that ride or I won't be happy :)

Worked out why I was riding like crap, the bike was setup perfect and went exactly where I wanted it to I'm much better off if it does its own thing :)

its probably just as easy for me to come to you as i'll be at my gf' the other side of the bridge so i was just going to fly down the switchback and up long bank. plus the traffic is better headding towards moggy after from your way i think.
  • Hi all, was cby fun??? Is anyone out sunday morning???
  • Dyl you old dogger, you ok?

We're looking at 24th October - holidays and stuff in between, and it's dependent on what the conditions are like, one lad doesn't do mud.

    12.58 miles

    1 hour 33 mins

And especially for reaper...........1,667 feet of climbing :D

I cant do Sunday morning this week, but it looks like I will be out at some point during Saturday if anyone is around ? :D
  • 8 am from the duke tomorrow.
    Crashing hard since 94...
  • Did you only do 1 lap Mounty thats just sad :) when you get back to the main fireroad after the new black section, you can head up that and come back down again, it's not to far for future reference.

Roger, surviving I've got to do the Malverns again some day to, been to long, dunno when I'm free though got a weekend near Leeds being planned around then.

Yeah, its also been very dry over here too, the Wyre yesterday was brilliant, so dry and fast...

Cheers Beermonsta, see you there @ 1.30pm. :)

If there are any change of plans, no worries as I am stopping in Stafford for the weekend anyway..
  • MP, ecckksss sounds bad, let hope its not that long.

Chase doesn't really work for me, got a mate who's a local who's given me the tour 100's of times but prefer the Wyre and Clent!!
  • OK mounty see you there

    I
  • Can't ride tomorrow Moggy :( Baby sitting all afternoon, why do I answer my phone :(

    I go a tag-along and/or a baby seat you can borrow!!
  • Interesting plan, 1 year old in the rucksack and 6year old on the tag-along sorted!!

Don't think the mom would be very happy though she'd nag so no change there and wouldn't let me baby sit ever again, not really seeing any down sides :)

Those torches are quite good for the money £12 each, blue colour slightly which I prefer, really bright hot spot so ideal for helmet mounting, do need there heat sinking improves with some Alu foil though!! Big MC-E moved to the bars, P7 D SXO on order :)

Which one you go for SF15 or SF23, i got a 15, its really floody, but the brightest light i own according to the light meter! Ordered another MCe to replace the broken one. The broken one has been given to the lady for now. We'll see how long it lasts.

    Still up for tonight mounty?
