I'm back off my hols but working Sat and Sun, but planning to be over the forest for Monday night at least.
Also off thru till thursday, so a trip over Clent beckons too at some point. Will be late afternoon / night rides though due to looking after the kids while missus Mick is at work.

Mick - can't join you Monday as I'm riding round Bringewood/Mortimer during the day, might be able to do Wednesday evening at Clent - only been there once recently in a major downpour - very disappointed with the views!

Mrs Moo - look forward to meeting you and Phil tomorrow - the sun is going to shine :D Don't forget your helmets

If anyone is free on Monday, 10am, Forestry Offices at Mortimer Forest, Ludlow - 4/5 hr ride with long climbs and some wicked singletrack.

Hi Shanta - thanks for introducing yourself - will look out for you and MrsShanta in the future. The other riders are from here - Moggy, Sassysarah and MrsMoo (+Mr Moo).

I'll not be out for two weeks as I have other rides organised and a trip to Coed-y-Brenin next week. Will be in touch when I get back from my adventures :)

Would need a normal type bike rack, i have a tow ball one but no tow ball.

For what it's worth, I was over there last night and it's very dry!! One of the best rides in ages over there, started with secret garden, then doubled back up the climb that runs parallel to it to bring us up the the river / scout hut bridge crossing .. climbed up to the start of chamber, did chamber, up the goldilocks cottage, finally found the start of 3 bears, then up to do technical caravan.

Also had a set of those dealextreme £50 bike lights ( my Ay-Ups are on loan to someone doing the transwales) and for the money it's very good indeed.

Mick sounds good, cant wait to get out now.

My DX light has been brill too, 2 months now with no problems and not had the battery go yet. Geomangear is getting extension cables and lupine style helmet mounts soon, so two of these with 1 on bars and one on helmet with mount would be awesome

I was in Sunday, the lower tracks are terrible still, but higher up all good.

That route from the River where we normally go up to the old railway track, we took the lower track and the bike was barely able to move so stay high!!
