At least you got to talk to her, she outright ignored me...

Maybe its because I'm taken....

    *You* ignored *me*

Don't be intimidated by the RP rides - I'm almost certainly the slowest out of everyone on here (ave 15mph on RP rides) and once I've had enough of trying to keep up, I just hang back and pootle along at my own pace. Would be good to see you there. Think the next one is Dec 21st?

No No No not races. Well, not officially anyway. Insurance implications and all that....

Anyhow, I can't come and do the sportive as Mr linsen is up doing the etape caledonia that weekend. I shall bring the littlies and simper at the sidelines though......

I did the WNBR in 2007 - Great fun.. The sea of naked arses stretching from Hyde Park Corner all the way to Piccidily will be something that I'll remember for a long time (and in some hairy cases something that I wish I couldn't remember)..

Ah, naked cycling through London.. Though not as entertaining as the nakkid frisbee and naked night club that followed (Nude dancing - Possibly one of the funniest things I've ever seen).

Where is this Mecca night club!?! Why am I only finding this out today?

Will there be a WNBR one in 2009? Me, LiT, Jen, Linsen and totalnewbie want to do a group ride....

    Hi Chris, I'm being honest.

Originally Jen started the conversation, saying that she wanted to run (I forget the distance, perhaps it was to Scotland or something) in her birthday suit for some charity or something. Then Linsen (who popped up from nowhere, in true form, as she normally follows Jens every post on this site) suggested a bike ride and said she'd be interested.

Lit got wind of this as well (you know how girls are) and said she'd be interested as long as Don Don doesn't show up. Understandably.

Totalnewbie (the one with the cool hair) also mentioned that she was doing this bike ride and so all four women decided to go together.

They figured that they better have a guy come along for protection and what not. I don't know maybe they are all attracted to me, maybe its my broad shoulders or maybe its because they figure I'm 100% devoted to my girlfriend, I'd like to believe its a combination of all three, but they asked if I'd like to come along and reluctantly I MTFU, stepped up and said yes.

Obviously I wasn't supposed to tell you this (as one of them is poking me as I type and telling me to stop) so when they come online and deny it, they're lying....

(I'm bored at work and in my life...)

    Dear Bikeradar

Unfortunately the member known as DonDaddyD (affectionately referred to as DDD) will no longer be able to post in this thread or on this site. He has unexpectedly been the victim of spontaneous combustion bought about, we suspect, by a post written by the member Linsen.

Before he exploded DDD was writing a response. Though incomplete we are aware that DDD was a much loved member of the site so we will post his final words below:

“OH MY 'expletive deleted' GOD!!!! Linsen, your married, but I love yo...”

We are sure a new DDD will appear shortly.

    Regards

*wonders exactly how much she had to drink at the Xmas Party*

*remembers all she had was Coke (of the brown fizzy liquid variety) because she cannot be trusted to cycle while inebriated*

    Phew!

Seriously though. I was at the pub once (not SCR beers) and upon hearing that I rode a bike, this random bloke was trying to get me to do the naked bike ride. I was being polite and said I didn't think I could do it naked but perhaps with a bikini on or something. The man got quite worked up and started saying loudly 'NO! You have to be NAKED!' at which point I decided to go and talk to someone else...
