I fancy smoked mackerel for lunch with some rice. Or bread, if I can't get rice.

Or a fishcake of some kind. Mmmm fishcake.

Man I am so hungry, had a mahoosive lamb curry for lunch at 1 and I'm starving already. Only got fishcakes and veg at home and I know that despite my best intentions that ain't gonna do the trick.

I hear you on that one. I ate my lunch at 11:00 now i'm freaking out man

I didn't even have fishcakes in the end. Drank 3 pints at the Morpeth :D (despite being on a pre Dragon ride no beer wagon) then went home and self flagellated by eating a pack of stir fry veg and 2 slices of granary for dinner. Needless to say I was starving this morning!
  • Pre commute: Standard porridge (made with skimmed millk) with sultanas and honey. The breakfast of champions (obv apart from your full English).

ForGoodnessShake (chocolate) post commute + gym.

    Skinny Latte.

Will have soup for lunch (watching the scales atm).

    Skinny Latte.

Banana 1 hr in advance of commute home.

This does mean I am ravenous come supper-time. I normally have some kind of sweet snack mid afternoon (chocolate/cake/muffin) and takes enormous will power not to bow to my hunger! :D

There was a pub 'round the corner from me that would do a meal with a 200 oz steak. (yes I did say 200 ounce) and all the trimmings.

If you ate it all, you would get the meal for free and get in the Guinness Book of Records. No one ever did. :?

  • I'm in hospital (see my dodgy ticker thread for details).

For some reason I am absolutely ravenous, today's items:

    Breakfast:
two slices of cold and badly toasted bread with flora
    2 bananas and an apple

    Lunch:
hospital mulch (chilli quorn, rice, peas, pineapple chunks)
cherry tomato, pesto and goats cheese ciabata
    ham, cheese & mustard ciabata
    banana
    can of san pelligrino arancita

    Afternoon snack:
    punet of blueberries
    punet of cherries
    2 apples

    dinner:
hospital mulch (veggie caserole, boiled potatoes, broad beans, lentil and leek soup)
    can of san pelligrino limoncita

    evening snack:
    box of ritz cheese crackers
    roysters T-bone steak flavoured crisps
pack of moster munch (pickled onion)
    apple

about 4 or 5 cups of tea throughout the day
bottle of san pellegrino sparkling water
    litre of hospital iced water

now considering some pack of revels my brother left me and a punet of strawberries.

Is this excessive for someone who has spent all day in bed?

I'll be able to contribute more to this thread during the winter :D

    Thus far today:

1 shredded wheat with a hint of sugar and soya milk

15 mile run with water and goo then, 2 rashers of bacon, 1 fried egg, half a can of bake beans, 2 tiny slices of wheatgerm bread and 3 cups of coffee.

Dinner is whatever I can find in the freezer that doesn't need cooking. My mother would be horrified as I'm clearly 'forgetting' my Jamaican roots which require chicken, rice and peas with salad each and every Sunday  Maybe next week :)

Moonio, I officially authorise you to bring out the non-Jamaican side of you on Sundays :D:D

PS: Managed to find some precooked c/r/p in the freezer yesterday so I don't have to be  any more :D

    Monday food so far:

    2 bacon
    1 fried egg
    beans
    2 slice bread
    1 coffee

    Mid-morning
    2 coffees
    1 Hula Hoops
    Water

    Lunch
    3 salmon sarnies
    1 packet of crisp
1 office tea (yeuch, but it's free  )
    water

    Mid-afternoon
    Chocolate or crisps
    (possibly) water
    1 tea
