    Into or onto?

Never mind. I'm sure it's a short walk.

I love beer and curry and bikes (in no particular order of preference). I don't generally love secret santa but since it's bike related I can grudgingly respect it.

28th is all clear, count me in.

Can do SCRSS if it goes ahead.

Will be about on the 14th as well for drinks, probbly sans bike though :(

I hope to make it. Got a work-related do on the 27th, club annual dinner on the 30th and possibly away with work the following week so need to be careful how the brownie points are spent. :)

By the way, isn't November a wee bit early for Christmas drinks?

Well if it's to early for christmas drinks don't come...........:-) Besides I think most people had plans in December so this was as close to Xmas as we could get it!

I'm thinking I might create another event on The Game FB group just to get another guest going!

I work for a fragrance company. Christmas starts in June for me. November is fine, if a little late. 8)

28th is free for me. Can probably think of an excuse or two to venture to the capital (Tate Modern, bit of shopping etc) as I don't work Friday afternoons.

One concern though. My Mum told me never to arrange to go alone to meet someone I've met on the internet........

But you wouldn't be meeting a *someone* you'd be meeting lots of people. It's entirely different. :D

Last time we went, as a group of 5, it wasn't hugely busy and that was a Friday evening. Having said that we did arrive around 9:45 and it was pi55ing down with rain!
Someone did say they think the Morpeth might have an upstairs area and they do serve food there according to one of the sites I've just checked.

Pubs that have function rooms usually require a fee or minimum spend which is usually very high >£1000 but worth asking, now if there was someone who lives nearby.... mmmmh!

The curry house was very good last time, gets my vote, basically anywhere that has booze and food gets my vote

Indeed the curry house was very good, at least this time I should have a nice bike ride to work up an appetite rather then the boring walk from Victoria :-)
