If all goes well, I could be there for 6.30ish.

E2a: if all doesn't go well, I might not make it at all. :(

Having just struggled the 10 miles to the pub for lunch (headwind + dead legs) I think I might be sick or something, headache stomach ache, nausea, feeling very cold - not good.

    :(

It's probably got something to do with the effort you have to put in fighting the drag (geddit?) that a headwind puts into that big floaty dress you wear.

You're hungry "bonking" and 10miles is about 9miles too far for a pub lunch.

seems the right place for it...

is the morpeth that smart a place to meet today? will it even be open?

Yeeeeahhhh, think it will be open. The roads will be closed to traffic, but there's no way every shop/pub/restaurant in that area will be shut.

Will have to go the long way round to get there though, by the looks of it.

you out tonight? got your wife's car?

Coming from a man who plays netball, that's pretty rich...

Haven't played in ages, certainly not since I've taken up mixed martial arts (got more injuries in netball)

Was aiming for 6:15 but 6:30 is more realistic. I know my limits ;)

I'm intending to head down if I can resist the lure of more immediately accessible beer. Not till after 7 as usual tho', and even then I have to negotiate my way round Victoria.

Can someone please confirm the Catholics have dispersed before I set off, otherwise I'll have to stop and buy matches just in case.

    On verra.

Depends on my ability to persuade the client they're not going to do anything with what they've asked me to do now until Monday.

  • Was nice to see new faces and catch up with some old - CP... :D

That and a brilliant display of pure spinning power from the boy Ginge from Morpeth to cheyne when he went off to piste via Fulham Park. I can accelerate fast and get up to 20-22 in quick time. Its when you are there but the boy ginge beetles past at 26...

There's no one quite like him out there. K Donut and CJ... the bell has rung. :D

    Hee Hee.

edit. eke you are a tart btw :D

I got back without much drama. Took a bit of a detour in a failed attempt to catch up with some other friends and found a short stretch of pave quite close to home.

Had a couple more beers and am now on wine, but what I really crave right now is a curry toastie.
