    Seriously?

Oh yeah, I'm deadly serious. For use on the SS naturally, and next year's Tweed Ride.

Well, the Race Face Cadence chainset arrived while I was away. Looks good.

    But. It. Doesn't. Fit.

Btw, if anyone needs to keep up the brownie points with the gf or wife while you buy these bits, I can recommend the Elemental Herbology range at Space NK. The shop also very kindly put a facial invite in the bag too, which the good lady was well chuffed about.

Thank heavens you're not married to me, CJCP, I'd far rather some sparkling new tyres

It's a 2009 CK7 - the 'classic' colour scheme - with Campag (veloce) instead of Shimano... I like it very much!

There aren't! I had the CK4 until a couple of years ago. My bro in law has it now. Lovely thing. Same paint job as a Pinarello (same factory I suspect). I'd heard that Tifosi were made by Merida.

Mine did. I suspect Lit used hers up on the older models in her growing fleet. I had to get another when I got my planet-x. May now have to get another for my commuter as my polar is getting a bit long in the tooth :(

Well, yes, it came with two of the actual clips to put it on the stem/bars, but only one wedge for the stem... only one cadence/speed sensor... only one set of magnets.

And as I'm not made of cable ties and have limited patience, I'm not moving the sensors and magnets from bike to bike!

Yep. The original sensors stay on the Scott but I bought new ones for my Pearson when they were on special on wiggle (I may move those to the planet-x). The primary speed measurement is by GPS anyway so you're only missing the cadence, which, unfortunately, is the bit I like.

Huh, didn't know that! But yeah, I like the cadence, that I do. I will probably pop the other bracket on the Bowery in that case, for navigation if need be and a 3rd speed measurement, of course...

It already has a cadence comp on it, you see, and I've finally remembered what I had to do to get that working last time! SS crank - chainstay gap = a LOT bigger than on a geared bike!

Cheeky barsteward... I'll just have to move the cateye cadence comp onto the bars, where the second front light used to be, and then the edge mount can go on the stem. Job's a good'un!

Raced at the weekend and didn't go so great, I was still on 9 speed Dura Ace, so I bought a 10 speed Dura Ace groupset today. Problem solved
