Thanks. I have it set up and a few minutes with my elbows on a door frame knackered me. Much harder workout than the turbo.

They turned up yesterday. Not half bad- seem water-resistant enough, in the cold my fingertips have felt a little nippy despite the Thinsulate etc, but nothing to cause me a problem. Can't say they're a massive improvement on the (rather cheaper) DHBs, but comfortable, and up to the job.Dahon Speed Pro TT; Trek Portland

Wasted £16 on a case for my 705. It arrived today from Wiggle and I don't like it. Have been using a bag from an old pair of sunglasses since my xmas pressie arrived. Anybody want to buy it off me post free for £16?
Got some leg warmers on their way from Ballyclare as unpadded tights under my baggies don't feel right.

One of these as an upgrade from my 205 (which will shortly be going on eBay) as I'd like HR but don't need the navigation. I'll also be buying these:
as I need some decent lights, together with sundry cleaning geear etc. Hurrah for early January sales!

I've just bought the last 2 pairs of Halfords bike hut dual sided platform & clipless pedals for £5 each. the pedals have gone straight into my box of spares but I've now got 2 brand new sets of SPD cleats for a tenner.
current cheapest I've spotted cleats recently was £13 a set in decathlon0 -
Got a P7 front light - it's great! Only problem is that it's stopping my wireless Cateye Computer working so I'll have to fiddle later on. Or maybe buy a wired computer.

Erm fellow SSC P7 owners how are you meant to keep the battery pack dry in the rain?Rule #5 // Harden The Feck Up.

ITB - I've put my battery in a crappy old bottle with a push fit lid, cut a tiny slice out of the lid to allow the wire through. The battery does bounce around a bit but I guess you could put a bit of sponge in to hold the battery in place, I was thinking of filling the void with expandable foam - I'm still thinking on that one :?
Fixed the computer problem - moved it from the stem to the right side of the handle bars and it works fine now. It worked when the light was on full power and flashing, but not on low power._________________________________________________

Seems from all the reviews that it's worthwhile taking the light apart and doing a quick cleanup and check, poor quality construction is the general consensus.Rule #5 // Harden The Feck Up.
