    Is nice, yes.

I've got more jackets than I really need

On the radar for next year will be a pair of the castelli body paint bibs. I fear they're gonna be expensive....

There you go, but you need to rotate it.

    Mmmm sex!

When I first saw this I thought you were going to say you had bought some fancy bike hanger.

A new commuter, so still buying lots of bits. This week:

    Shimano M424 SPD's
    15mm pedal spanner.
    Grease.
    Endura Singletrack 3/4's

Still waiting for delivery of the Tricross - HR at work still haven't made the payment for me to get the cyclescheme voucher  Something to do with an audit being more important, or some other twaddle.

Understated. But when you shout at people whilst wearing them, they do seem to be frightened....

That's gotta be a joke ... that price for a single .I would seriously question that

How far is the distance between those locations stated on the ticket ???

If thats the price for a single would I be correct it's 15/16 quid for a return ?

Cheapest I can find on advance booking is £10. I've had £16 on the day though for Liverpool-Windermere return :?

Distance is about 80 miles; 1.5 hours not including connections.

Who do you normally ride with? If you are riding from Chester station over the Xmas break give me a shout if you want company, I won't be too far from there.

Xmas is the only time for me where I can have a decent stretch of days of cycling in Wales. Stuck in Manchester most of the time now, and the riding is so poor in comparison.

Unfortunately I never ever managed much riding over Xmas because of illness and ice, so hopefully I'll have a proper chance this year.

Yeah most of my rides tend to be from Chester and into Wales, but I've had a few good ones from Manchester this year - well from Rochdale/Glossop/Marple - straight into the Peaks and Yorkshire.

Got one of these. Pretty cosy for the most part:

An alarming number of metal boxes keep driving out of junctions/ turning right into my path so I have now bought one of these ( the yellow version ).:

You'll be very happy with that jacket. I have it. Very snug. Gone up £10 in price since this time last year though.

Miche long drop brake calipers for the tourer, but they don't look any different I think wiggle may have sent me the wrong ones.

Is that the two for £30 offer + a free box of chocolates?!

I was tempted, but had seen a few reports about them snapping which rather put me at off :?

It IS a nice looking bit of kit though.

Yep, that was the one. Mrs CJ just looked at me with raised eyebrows when I asked her whether the "matt" or "gloss" looked better. She mentioned the price. I said "free chocolates!". She said that amount would feed our children for a week. I had no answer.

They're not going to make me go any faster though, so I'm pleased I didn't buy them now. That's what I'm telling myself anyway.

Thankyou CJCP for properly making me laugh out loud this dreary Sunday afternoon :D

I think I could only 'justify' such a purchase if I had a proper full carbon mutha, and as I do not yet, I will stick with £5 versions :D

    Cheers

    Dan

P.S I think the air would flow more smoothly (less resistance) over the gloss version as opposed to matt, so clearly between the two of them the gloss would be the faster bottle cage 8)

    :) You're welcome.

As for the above, I guess I'll never know. :)
