Errmmm - heavily upgraded?! That's as light as my Stumpjumper!
Our RH Disk (2008) is about 28-30lbs (not weighed it -just guessing).

    Marin approx 22lb

Wildcard approx 36lb (still rides well uphill)

New Yeti build, although not completed should come in at approx 26lb (based on rough calculations)

I weighed mine today (1989/90 or so Specialized RockHopper, see "Post your bike" thread). 30lb with no suspension front or rear, and no heavy disc brakes.

I'm at 11.5kg (25.3lb) now. Should be able to take another few hundred grams off the front wheel, but not much more after that, I'd say :D

Where can I take my bike to get it weighed?

I'm dying to know if my guesses are anywhere near accurate.

Kleinfan - That's such a gorgeous bike. Is it modern or retro? Never see any Kleins on the trails now, do they still make them? Do they have a UK importer?

Get some good weighing scales for human weighing. Weigh yourself. pick bike up, weigh again. Take one off the other!

Preferably your weight off the combined weight not the other way round or you will end up with one heavy bike :P

Hi I would try a fishing shop. I use some fishing scales and they seem accurate enough. I would be suspect about using human scales because I don't believe they would be accurate enough unless you spent some serious money on them.

Cheers Chaka Ping, I got the frame on it's own back in 2006 from Evan's Cycles and built up with modern components. I think it's the 2005 paintjob, but Trek have pretty much killed off the Klein MTBs since, which is a damn shame.

Doh! So simple, of course I wouldn't have thought of it!

I can't wait to weigh my bikes now, but I'll have to wait a couple of days until I can borrow a scale. My guesses are...

Giant Anthem Zero (with some heavier bits added) = 25lb
Cove Handjob (XT, 717s and air Revs) = 27.5lb
    Yeti 575 (X9, XT, 719s, DHX 5 and Float 140) = 31lb

Anyone else want to have a stab in the dark and I'll check back in and reveal the true weights later this week?

    Sounds about right.
I think the Anthem will weigh a bit more though.

I'll weigh my Large Enduro SL Carbon tonight; I'm expecting it to be around 30lb's so any less will be a bonus.

Don't know how heavy my bike is but I'm fat  so it doesn't really matter, does it :?:
I guess if I rode more, I'd lose more weight, and it'd be kinder to my bike
