I'm at 11.5kg (25.3lb) now. Should be able to take another few hundred grams off the front wheel, but not much more after that, I'd say

Where can I take my bike to get it weighed?
I'm dying to know if my guesses are anywhere near accurate.
Kleinfan - That's such a gorgeous bike. Is it modern or retro? Never see any Kleins on the trails now, do they still make them? Do they have a UK importer?0 -
Cannondale Prophet SL - 23.8lbs
(according to the Build Kit calculator on the Competative Cyclist website)0 -
Picked up my 16" Orange 5 Pro this evening. Weighed it at work and it's almost exactly 29lb including pedals.0

Get some good weighing scales for human weighing. Weigh yourself. pick bike up, weigh again. Take one off the other!0 -

Preferably your weight off the combined weight not the other way round or you will end up with one heavy bike :P0 -
Hi I would try a fishing shop. I use some fishing scales and they seem accurate enough. I would be suspect about using human scales because I don't believe they would be accurate enough unless you spent some serious money on them.0

Cheers Chaka Ping, I got the frame on it's own back in 2006 from Evan's Cycles and built up with modern components. I think it's the 2005 paintjob, but Trek have pretty much killed off the Klein MTBs since, which is a damn shame.

Doh! So simple, of course I wouldn't have thought of it!
I can't wait to weigh my bikes now, but I'll have to wait a couple of days until I can borrow a scale. My guesses are...
Giant Anthem Zero (with some heavier bits added) = 25lb
Cove Handjob (XT, 717s and air Revs) = 27.5lb
Yeti 575 (X9, XT, 719s, DHX 5 and Float 140) = 31lb
Anyone else want to have a stab in the dark and I'll check back in and reveal the true weights later this week?0 -

I think the Anthem will weigh a bit more though.
