Some silly excuse about getting 200 riders, 40 team cars, 20 coaches, all the race vehicles, all the officials, the TV equipment, the journalists and everything else off a small island and back to Italy. [:p]

    Hi there.

    Stage 4: Danilo Di Luca

This one's been billed as Kid Cunego vs Killer Di Luca, although this early in the race there have top be at least another half dozen climbers who fancy there chances. They've both got the form and the history here, but I fancy Danilo to be back in the Pink Jersey.

    Cheers, Andy

ps As a side bet, I'll be picking Ricardo Serrano as the chosen Tinkov rider to get into the early TV break.

(I agree with andy's analysis and I expect Pablo Lastras to have a go with Serrano)

    Herd of gnus?

    No! What's the news?

Though wouldn't it be nice if they sent Charly up the road and we finished up with a Brit in Pink.
