Hi,
Stage 5: Robbie McEwen
Thanks0 -
Hi folks.
Stage 5: Robbie McEwen
Now I did have bling-bling Bettini earmarked for this stage from the very beginning, but seeing as he seems intent on ripping holes in his rainbow jersey I'll have to pass him by. Robbie got boxed in on Stage 3, and won't take losing to Pettachi well - he'll be keen to get back into a nice shade of cyclamen.
Cheers, Andy

Hi folks.
Stage 6: Stefano Garzelli
This is looking like a classic climber's breakaway stage with plenty of mountains points on offer. If I was sitting in the Tinkov Merc, (How Russian Mafia do those cars look?) I'd be picking Ricardo Serrano as my man for another Tinkov-TV special. It's still to early for the break to stick, so I'm expecting it to all come back together for the finish. Not the sprinters though - they'll be sitting back in the autobus saving their legs for the sprintfest that is stages 7 through to 9. So I'm going for a climber who can sprint - and one who's team needs to show a result to justify their wildcard selection.
Or something like that...
Cheers, Andy
ps Have Tinkov hired Jackie Durand as a tactical consultant?
