All the excitement our local (Kidderminster) Aldi offers is the occasional...well...nothing really. I feel positively deprived.

what clothing isn't manufactured in 3rd world sweat shops? At least Aldi don't charge over a œ100 for a pair of trainers that cost next to nothing in labour like some other mega profit making companies.

Bought a red waterproof jacket for œ7.99, ten days ago. Rode in torrential rain from Northampton to Edinburgh in the last week. It was waterproof, and it was raining all day everyday! Tremendous value!

I got a pair of SPD compatable shoos.

fitted cleats and have done about 350 miles in them.

fairly comfortable and dont seem to be showing any adverse signs of wear.

not bad for under 20 quid.

  • I got some of the spd shoes, but from lidl.

I paid 12.99 and they are great. Using them with Shimano M324's.
