Thanks Phil - wasn't too sure about using the A20.

Depends how you feel about riding on dual carriageways I suppose. It's not the most scenic but certainly the easiest route and I feel comfortable on it. The alternative is probably something like the 286 bus route going through Eltham.
  • There won't be a problem early Sunday Morning

I often ride that way (especially when the A20 is busy): via Blackfen, down thru Eltham, right at the traffic lights by MacDonalds to the Well Hall roundabout, left then along the old Rochester Way for about a mile, taking the first right after the bridge over the A2 Blackwall Tunnel approach, then turning left after about 400m into Westbrook Rd. This brings you out onto Kidbrook Pk Rd or you can go straight on to the SE edge of the Heath itself.

    Severe weather warning!!!

    I'd pack a water/wind proof.

If it wasn't for hangovers, I'd ride everyday.

In view of the severe weather warning for Saturday and Sunday it's going to be important to keep warm and eat plenty. With that in mind I think I might stay at home and eat a lot.[:D]
