IP blocking is definitely a thing as I gave VPN a trial and Prime Video blocked all access. My Disco+ running out earlier this month and not renewing seems to be lucky timing now.1 -

It seems to be €5/month or €50/year in Germany. I'm guessing it will require a VPN to watch as well as sign up (assuming they accept UK credit cards) which is a risk as the IP can easily be blocked.1 -
