Why do old men have such big ears? Do they keep growing? If so why? Or do their heads shrink? If so why?
Always notice it on WW2 Veterans, sadly very few are now left with us.
Sometimes. Maybe. Possibly.

Praps the ones with bigger ears could better hear the bullets coming?

Can you date them with Dendrochronology like rings on tree stumps?

I hate to break it to everyone, but your nose keeps growing as well.

Damn. Just the nose then?

Yes, that other thing isn't cartilage.

Just as well, most of my cartilage has disintegrated with use.😂

But not as fast as the hairs inside.

I suspect a sign of getting older is going from laughing at the notion of 'rotary nose-hair trimmers' to thinking "Hmm, that sounds like a good idea".

Mrs B bought me one for Christmas. Also good for my ever more unruly eyebrows.

Yeah, I took the hint, in the days when I paid someone to use clippers on me 'ead, when she started 'tidying up' the eyebrows. So far I've avoided the ear hair.

You need to travel to my barber in Tavistock.
Hot wax plugs for the nasal hair, and burn off the ear hair.
Yes, it stings.

Mrs W cuts my hair and trims my beard. However I’m only allowed to trim my nostril hair with mini trimmer. Ears and eye brows get done with the tweezers.
Interestingly when getting the tweezer treatment on my left eyebrow I start sneezing.

Why put yourself through that? Clippers with the appropriate length guard for me.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.

Next someone will be extolling the virtues of particular types of slippers that are great at helping with fallen arches.

That or someone will start talking about manscaping.

Top tip. Don't use rotary nose clippers if the batteries are in danger of failing. I found out the painful way!
Sometimes. Maybe. Possibly.

Another view from a getting old geezer: the knee slide habit by goal scoring moneyballers.... why? With knacked, cartilage jeffed knees I might be somewhat biased. But... why rip grooves into the turf? Why poss damage your knees? Your mega money ain't gonna replace your cartilage.

When you are young you feel invincible and think that will always be the case.
My grandson (13 at the time) wondered why his granddads couldn't run around for an hour playing football. Well, I could to an extent but no chance for the other. Grandson simply couldn't comprehend not being fit.

Do you still have to shave your legs if you get to the ear shaving stage.
Asking for a friend…..

No, you don't.
You can leave them hairy.

Because cutting your eyebrows and ear hair makes it grow thicker, so I’m told. However I suspect it’s just payback for some misdemeanour that I’ve forgotten about.

My eyebrows are no thicker than they were 10 years ago.
Also, if that was true, how come I don't have a bushy head of hair? 😂

plucking stimulates hair follicles and results (eventually) in more growth so you need to pluck more (in mice, at least). I can’t see how cutting hair can stimulate. Electric shaving maybe plucks a bit though.
