TBH anything you do in your own name online, unless it's directly necessary for your job, I would advise auto-delete after 3 months.

I think we should have some speculation based on comedy Dutch names.

Who's that bloke Marry Poppins umbrella'd about with?

Invented toot sweets?

Gekkehuis Borst, is his real name.

Ummm... How do I change my username?

Edit - wasn’t very funny.

I've postulated Chick Racey in the past. But I think Chase Ricky is more likely.

It is THE Ricky van Wolfswinkel

This would suggest the candidates are real, but as thought most likely just paper candidates, although there are still a few unanswered questions.

That fucker in Clacton is no way a real person.😜

Not Goldmember?

I don’t think Reform can moan too much about FPTP having apparently gamed the system by putting up candidates that have no intention of getting elected.

So Reform have 5 MPs
If Jim Allister agrees to take the whip it puts them opens the door to £millions in Short money.
Afaik Short money is calculated based on your votes won, but capped for parties 5MPs or under
Farage publicly embarrassed Allister when, seemingly oblivious to the TUV/Reform pact, he endorsed Ian Paisley (who Allister beat in North Antrim)
Allister will be looking for commitments on the Irish Sea Border

I'd never heard of short money.
Nothing about 5 seats though unless I've missed it?

If qualifying parties with five or fewer MPs are entitled to an amount between the floor and the ceiling, they receive that amount.
In the 2024 Parliament, five parties with five or fewer MPs qualify for Short Money: the Democratic Unionist Party; the Green Party; Plaid Cymru; Reform; and the Social Democratic and Labour Party.

The funding available to parties with five or fewer Members is subject to a floor and ceiling, set at 50% and 150%, respectively, of the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority’s (IPSA) staffing budget for non-London area MPs. For 2024/25, the staffing budget for non-London MPs is £250,820:
The floor is set at £125,410
The ceiling is set at £376,230
If qualifying parties with five or fewer MPs are entitled to an amount between the floor and the ceiling, they receive that amount.
So Reform would get the ceiling amount of £376k rather than the close to £1million they'd get based on vote share?

Ha ha.

Further scenes.
To everyone's shock, Reform voters are having a bit of a flap about their new Muslim chairman.

It always makes me wonder how many of the "this is a Christian country" zealots have actually been to church other than for a wedding or funeral.

Surprising how comfortable some people are being blatantly racist on Twitter

Bet they'd struggle to even name the four Evangelists. In a similar vein the fake vicar has been getting upset about Muslim MPs taking their vow of allegiance on the Qur'an. Never understood why dickheads want to advertise the fact so much.

I can only think of Billy Graham 😉

That's because you're a woke leftie I suspect. If you were a Reform voter you would realise that someone needs to speak out about this sort of thing even if you risk being cancelled.

I don't find racism in the Reform part at all surprising, i am quite surprised by the number of ethnic minorities and 1st/2nd generation immigrants who want to join though.
Our local Reform candidate was similar background - parents moved from Sri Lanka in the 80's, he looks like he was probably born soon after and now he's standing for a party that has quite a few openly racist members and pretty much one policy; target zero immigration.
