I bet that guy was a Faragist.

They are definitely fixated with Rayner. Arty black and white footage now. Creepy feckers.

The under 30's in your office were furious?
Where are the interviewees going to get graduate jobs paying £50k out of interest.
It seems a lot to pay someone with zero experience but if they have no commitments in the UK and they can get it, you can't blame them. I don't understand why people would care where other people choose to live.

"I don't understand why people would care where other people choose to live."
Jealousy, usually. Had the same from staffies regarding rates when working contract. I simply asked if they were willing to give up their (so-called) security and benefits. Usually did the trick.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.Veronese68 wrote:PB is the most sensible person on here.0 -

The next constituency over is certainly is a retirement community.

What happens to their student loan in those cases?

Leaving the UK
If you received a UK student loan and you leave the UK for more than three months after finishing your course, you must inform the Student Loans Company (SLC). Their contact details and an online form can be found on GOV.UK. The SLC will then take over the collection of the repayments.
If you secure employment abroad and are paid abroad, the SLC will ask for the name of the employer and evidence of the salary. This is called an overseas income assessment. They will probably ask you to set up a direct debit repayment arrangement. The level of your repayment will depend on your overseas earnings.

I listened to an interesting podcast on generation Z. I don't speak to many people that age, so it is interesting hearing alternative views.

Not Europe then. Wonder why?

Surprised at UAE a bit, in my sector they pay well out there but want experience

Likewise, although a lot of people who have come back and I have worked with have been absolutely hopeless so I'm not sure the high pay reflects quality.
I wouldnt even consider it myself, perhaps I'm too good for them 😄

I've just seen the Tory Rayner thing. And there I was thinking they couldn't get any more insane. Mind boggling.

I was trying to avoid saying it, but that pretty much nails it!

I don't get it at all, do they think that 'fire and rehire' and 'zero hours contracts' are popular with the public?

Why have they dressed her up like Mario?

Perhaps she's a militant Pimlico Plumber?

They probably don't realise just how expensive it is to live in Oz. More expensive than here.

I think zero hours contracts probably have their place when used correctly. If I recall correctly, lots of conservative MPs were outraged by P&Os firing and rehiring.

yep, i've a friend who relocated there, she's flexible on location, now living somewhere on the top right, seems lovely and the property prices are way lower than the major cities

Feels like Reform are struggling with even a moderate level of scrutiny. If only there was some explanation as to why they keep getting caught being a bunch of racists.

Why would it cost a doctor less to live in Oz than anyone else to live there?
It's an expensive place to live, unless you are in the back of beyond.

Perhaps you need to read what you write before posting it, and stop, and think if it actually makes any sense.
I suspect you are trying to say that relative to wages & cost of living between the UK and Oz, doctors are better off, but that is not what you said.
I don't make out I'm bright, you're the one who does that, but I point out non sense when I see it.
I'm not sure the grass really is massively greener for those junior doctors moving to Oz, if it's like teaching and nursing posts, you get sent to the small rural towns that have issues, whilst the Aussies work take the jobs in the nicer areas.

It’s just the way people speak and Farage would take action if anyone says anything genuinely offensive apparently. Who’d have thought a hard right Party would attract racist homophobes as candidates? Problem is I suspect there’s a lot more people lap up that sort of thing than we’d like to think.
