Sometimes I read your posts on here and for some reason am reminded of Randy Marsh from South Park 😀

So how's it all going for you, #toryscum fanboi? Feeling confident with the professional campaigning procedures? All going to plan? Nothing going wrong at all? HiRiskAnus being on top of his game?

Well now

Looking on the bright side, you will probably get the government that you deserve. Ie not the SNP so you'll never escape the UK, but they'll be happy to tax pensioners and other non working people. Enjoy 😉

Quite interesting watching the squirm in that interview. Straight onto blaming NATO of course but very obviously less comfortable.

In an interview with the BBC's Nick Robinson, Mr Farage was challenged over his judgement and past statements, including when he named Russian President Vladimir Putin as the world leader he most admired in 2014.
"I said I disliked him as a person, but admired him as a political operator because he's managed to take control of running Russia," Mr Farage said.
He was then pressed over a social media post in February 2022, when he claimed the Russian invasion of Ukraine was "a consequence of EU and Nato expansion".
Mr Farage said he had been arguing since the 1990s that "the ever eastward expansion" of the Nato military alliance and the EU was giving President Putin "a reason to [give to] his Russian people to say they're coming for us again and to go to war".
consistent and honest" on the issue.
This is the context, don't be so damn lazy and take a goaded sound bite from the MM. Do you remember the Germans wouldn't even allow our military aircraft to fly over their land when it kicked off between Russia and Ukraine, because they were worried about their gas supplies from Russia!
Stop using and falling for sound bites without context.
Lazy!

Ah that makes it all alright then. I suppose Musk is a bit of a Putin fanboi too so he’s in good company.

If the Tories have any sense (yeah, I know…) they’ll be going on the attack with those comments. It could save them quite a few seats if they can put people off voting Reform.

"admired him as a political operator because he's managed to take control of running Russia"

Clearly you didn't read it either. What do you think about Germany not allowing our military aircraft to fly over their land because they were worried the Russian gas would be cut off?

I’m not German. I care more about someone leading a UK political Party and prospective MP admiring and being an apologist for someone who has invaded an independent, democratic country resulting in the deaths of who knows how many civilians. Not sure where what Germany has or hasn’t done is relevant to that. You go ahead and vote Reform though if that’s your thing.

Isn't the line from Farage about the EU and NATO provoking the war the same view as Corbyn? Hopefully he gets properly rinsed for it.

What's that got to do with Farage? Yes clearly there were/are some Russophile German politicians as well. What's your point? That Farage isn't the only c***?

I'm glad to see two wrongs make a right.

Focuszing has been on the koolaid again.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.Veronese68 wrote:PB is the most sensible person on here.0 -

Given the shit quality of life for the average Russian, I'd think twice about voting for any leader who admired Putin. As far as ex- Warsaw pact countries joining the EU being a good excuse for Russia to invade Ukraine...I think it's pretty weak, I suspect if it wasn't for that Putin could easily find 10 other reasons.

I don't see Musky's tweets, but I think he echoes Putin's reasoning too, from little snippets I've seen elsewhere.

Musk gave Ukraine equipment and access to StarLink at the start of the war, whilst Germany wouldn't allow our military aircraft to fly over their land.

I needed a cup of coffee to pick myself up after a terrible sleep, my mind was in flux due to the Dutch fans awful treatment of corner kick French bloke.

Looks like Germany have tried to make amends.

Can't help feeling that this lie-fest is being driven by the same machine/apparatus that is working to re-elect Trump. Even if Bannon is going to prison (albeit it briefly), there's an awful lot of money behind these shenanigans, not least from Russia and the religious Right in the US.

Yep, and Giga Berlin.

that'll be the same musk that told the ukrainians to give up crimea and the same musk who deliberately restricted their use of starlink when they were trying to fight back
