well i think he'd look better electrocuted, he should get on with it

It's all just part of his shock vibe. It's just a big shtick which just screams "I'm not a DC politican, I'm just like you, I chat sh!t"

I think that's what the voters should be choosing. Whether to have him electrocuted or fed to sharks.
My personal preference would be the first one; be interested to see what happens to his hair when subjected to high voltage...

Why not both?

Kinder to the shark than having to ingest all that saturated fat.

Key point is that he wouldn't get electrocuted, and anyone been near MIT would know that.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.Veronese68 wrote:PB is the most sensible person on here.0 -
I think the key point is that he is talking utter gibberish, like a less amusing Grandpa Simpson.

I put it more politely. 😉

It's an anti electric car rant. They're putting batteries in boats too you see, making them heavier, more likely to sink, and obviously electrocute the shark or something.

Is an electric chair AC or DC?

I am sure there is something about Stormy in there too.

Wouldn't it be better to argue in favour of being eaten by a shark then? Electric cars/boats are so bad, Trump would rather be eaten by a shark.

That's what I was thinking. Though maybe by the time he gets to the end of the story he's forgotten why he started it.

Not once, but twice, having taken a second run at it, having only accessed the 'Ronny' bit on the first attempt. It's actually interesting to see what George Conway and Rick Wilson are doing: they are actively using these instances to mock Trump personally, because they know it makes him mad, and when he's mad he short circuits even more... they (not unreasonably) want Trump's incapacity to become so pronounced that the press can't pass it off as 'just normal for Trump'.

In contrast to Trump, Biden was seen shuffling and having another 'senior' moment. It's a pretty grim situation for US voters and god knows what the rest of the world think about both candidates in 'the most powerful nation in the world'. Putin must be giggling. Surely it's embarrassing or don't the Usanians have sufficient collective self awareness?
Does the senate/house of representatives not have the power to prevent either candidate from standing? I don't think this would happen in the UK.

I hope that this wouldn't happen in the UK but look at Truss and wonder...

Fair bit of selective editing going on on both sides.

Hopefully the choice between Johnson and Corbyn will be the low point for the UK.

"Who's the President of the United States, Sir?"
"Joe Bride".

Getting a name wrong is something anyone might do though. There's no real equivalence on the evidence available to us - Trump seems to be pretty sharp while Biden seems to be having moments of confusion and not being present.

"Trump seems to be pretty sharp..." Really? 🤔
Look upthread for examples of his sharpness.

I've read a few articles contrasting age related cognitive decline and dysphasia.
Trump seems.to have confused Republican rival Nicky Hailey with Nancy Pelosi, and Biden with Obama. He frequently mixes words and more significantly frequently only get the root of a word and cannot complete it.
It is something of a Hobson's choice for the US electorate, but the consequences of progressive dementia are potentially significant, given who Trump surrounds himself with (compared to Regan, for example, who also had early stage dementia while in office).

You what? Trump was an incoherent mess when he was President and is getting worse every time he speaks. Unless ‘sharp’ now means continuing to sound angry whilst you rant incoherently.

Mass thinkit.
Means mass amnesty. He got it the second time around.
Probably came out first as a mass thing, but he couldn't even fish for the word correctly. Given he was in the middle of an effectively Nazi rant at the time, it isn't great.

Way off topic: Thomas Hobson lived to 86. Quite remarkable given he was born in 1544 when the life expectancy was between 33 and 42.

The deliberately short clips from both camps are really tedious

They have to appeal to the Tik Tok generation.

The long clips may be even more tedious
