I hope they drop it. I suspect they may reimpose it but up the limit a bit.

I hope not as it looks like someone’s just cum all over him.😱

We were referring to the girl who chucked the milkshake 🙂

I know but it looks like I said on his jacket. Have you got a blond wig and is doing favours for politicians your retirement plan🤣🤣🤣

Ironically Ithink the Corbyn supporter who checked the milkshake over Farage did him a favour by getting him extra publicity and probably more votes from people who realise that it's not very clever to do that just because someone has views that you disagree with...

Yes that’s the reality but you’ve got to admit he’s got a face made for punching.😂

British tradition of throwing food over politicians in elections isn’t it? I know miliband got egged, Prescot obviously did.
I guess everyone is on edge because of Cox.

Certainly milkshaking right wingers is traditional.

Must only be a matter of time before there's a poll with Reform ahead. Suspect Farage lining up against Penny in a TV debate might give it that push.
Not that I think it will be this high come polling day, but still.

If more polls come in like that the Tories may do something crazy as that’s existential territory - LDs are much more efficient and would probably get more seats than the Tories

Oh he loves it. Hardly surprising that there were (untrue) rumours that it was a set-up flying around. The worst thing for him would be to be ignored.

Do any of the polling companies do it on a constituency by constituency basis rather than at national level with the occasional extrapolation for number of seats? I’ve never seen the point in pure percentage of vote share with our electoral system

Where would they go from here? I can't see any good options, just need to not lose so badly that they aren't the official opposition.

Has that actually come in yet, or are Labour raising taxes by not lowering them?

No point stooping to leftie tactics 🙂

Prescott tried to start a trend by chinning the bloke who egged him, but for some reason it never caught on.

Mate seriously these numbers if they hold consign Tories to the fate of the Lib Dem’s.
im not exaggerating.

Yes, it received Royal assent and came into effect on 6 April this year. So Labour will be raising taxes by reintroducing the cap.

Sounds great until you need to pick a replacement!

I think Stevo's only sticking to his guns as a form of therapy.

I do wonder about the sanity of anyone who would take over. They wouldn't get to put PM on their CV, and they are faced with a job where if they do really well, they will end up as leader of the opposition (but with a few more seats) but if they do badly, may end up as the third party.

Okay. Misplaced skepticism.
It's quite a progressive one though? As I recall it's affecting the top couple of percent of pension pots?

Progressive in that respect, but those affected could easily find themselves five or 6 figure sums worse off. And if you have a final salary pension, you be impacted without being stinking rich - for example career public sector professionals. Hence the doctors making a noise about it.

If it is that bad then the logical thing would be a Tory - Reform merger which on the face of it would have a share of the vote over 35%. How much would you like that?
