Donald isn't having a great day. The jury's been selected in the hush money case, and Letitia James has asked the judge in the fraud case to reject the surety that had been put up for him. Oh, and apparently he's been dropping off to sleep in court and farting a lot.

This particular trial massively helps trump as it is genuinely politically motivated, the case is flimsy and the way in which it has had to be prosecuted is novel and lacks precedence.

Having a President who crimes so prolifically is also unprecedented, so it's not surprising that the cases against him are also without precedent. He's never really been held accountable for any of his criming, so I suspect it's going to put quite a strain on his fragile ego, which, in turn, might reveal a side of his character (apart from the malodorous farting) that won't help him in his "I'm a martyr for you!" strategy.

It’s a flimsy case and anyway if you look at the jury one of them only gets their news from Truth Social so it’ll be a hung jury.

The jury thing is going to be an issue in any trial. They’re never going to get juries made up of people without strong opinions of Trump.

I'd actually forgotten how much sharper Trump's delivery was just nine years ago.
Though I suspect to his faithful followers, he could be completely incomprehensibly babbling and dribbling, and they'd still say he's a genius with all the best words.
