Not up to @masjer's quality for waves. Maybe I'll have a quick sit down while I wait for some big 'uns to roll in.

Nice angles - London's answer to the Flatiron Buildings!

Spring tide^
Snowdrop season and I beat @briantrumpet to it. Only one flower had bothered opening- I sympathise.
Very soft as I shot through the ones at the front.

Beat me to it, though I took this last week.
A bit early so not the best, and trying using a longer focal length. Next visit will hopefully be better, lower and closer.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.

Rare downtime

My bestest dog (collie x GSD) was really hard to catch asleep, right from when he was an 8-week-old pup: he seemed to think it was his job to stay alert at all times when I was about, so I've not got one photo of him asleep. Still miss him, 20 years after I had him put down (at 15½).

Glad to get out briefly before the rain arrives today... here it comes!!

Yeah, he's the same. You think he's fast asleep but then he's awake and alert the second anyone moves or if there's a sound in the street. I guess it's generations of them being bred to do exactly that. If I hadn't had my phone in my hand I'd never have got the picture.

Your machines work much better than your photo links. Access denied. Google is rubbish for sharing photos, if that's what it is.

A couple more spring things:

You keep spoiling some lovely shots with a dodgy old bicycle.

I had a work meeting in a church this morning, so the camera came along for company. Some monuments for @rjsterry
I think this is the stand-out effigy, original paint n'all. (Now annoyed I missed photographing the still-born child near his right knee close up.)

I took these crocuses using an ‘80s Fuji prime lens. Originally it was supplied as a cheap kit lens, but is thought to have a unique lens arrangement, together with quirky flaws. These flaws make it an interesting ‘art’ lens in the way it renders. Fun to experiment with, anyhoo.

I like it, not least as it's the kind of stuff I don't do with my point & shoot tat output.
Anyway, a bit of snowdrop tat in today's dreary light...

Thanks.
It's tomorrow's dreary light that I'm annoyed about, a weather warning for heavy rain. Silver lining...possibly some mist in the morning, but not sure I'm up for a dank woods visit.

I'll be staying put in all likelihood, unless the forecast is as fallible as today's and Mrs Sunshine pops her head around the corner at some stage. I'm rather bored of grey.
Mind you, we did get a sunset here in the end, even if there was too much floodwater in the Exe for a mirror-like reflection.

^Classy.^
Personally, I no longer photograph sunsets. Simple reason, they don’t materialise around these parts. Maybe it’s just too windy.

Not had many here, so tonight was a nice bonus. That one was shot on panorama mode, holding the camera in portrait mode but moving L-R, so I got plenty of height in the panorama.

Weather didn't pan out as per Brian's forecast. Still, it was a dry, calm and relatively mild day so don't mind if I do!

'king miserable out there today. FFS, sunshine, please!
A short walk, then boiled a brisket of beef.
Flower tat, for some colour in a grey world.

Took a walk up the mountain and hopefully managed a few atmospheric misty landscapes on the phone. Some really high contrast sections of bright green moss on dry stone walls amongst the brown leaves and mud.

Nicest snowdrop shot I've seen in a while, including my own. 👏👏👏
