No. The last one I played was Frogger on the BBC Micro I was supposed to be writing my dissertation on.

I played lunar landing on the BBC micro. You had to land a spacecraft (triangle) and not use up too much fuel or go to fast.

Finding good cheap replacement pince nez on Amazon to stick on my phone case. Lifesaver when I've not got proper glasses with me. The old ones were shagged. Just disappointed I've not yet restarted a craze for them in France. Or Topsham, for that matter.

Bristol house prices remaining fairly buoyant... at last my late mum's house should be auctioned next month (long story), but the three-year delay shouldn't have come at too great a cost, if this Telegraph report is to be believed. Still, was a pity not to get in during the pandemic when it was red hot. Ho hum.

Yes, indeed. My bigger worry was that there would be little activity going on, but I think with the probable turn-around in interest rates, and the interest in family houses in Bristol, I hope it shouldn't be a difficult one to sell. As long as it meets the reserve I'll be happy, and anything above that will be a bonus. Well, it's all a bonus, I suppose, and (non-trivially, and to annoy RC even more) should allow me to reduce my work commitments somewhat and spend more time in France rather earlier than I anticipated.

The psychology of tax rebates is funny. I got all excited at my £3k odd rebate until I realised a big portion of it is money I had already factored in getting back as it was payments into the wife's pension.
