Very nearly ordered a pair of See Sense lights from Sigma, and then stumbled on this review for the Icon lights that are replacing them - just 'pledged' £114 for the brighter set on kickstarter:
http://www.bikeradar.com/road/news/article/see-sense-icon-led-flashers-get-smarter-and-brighter-45509/
it would appear I have the Icon+ ones on order - 420 lumens on the front, and 250 on the rear  8)

This:http://www.genesisbikes.co.uk/bikes/urban/urban-cross/day-one-di2
Got it a while back but haven't been on this site in years, thought I'd check back in.
My new super commuter is a genesis day one alfine di2, added some mudguards, gator hardshell 32s, some lights, a Hamax siesta for my daughter and a shed load of reflectives. Got it on a ridiculous half price deal Edinburgh bicycle coop we're offering, price matched by my local Evans.
It's awesome.Not climber, not sprinter, not rouleur0 -

If you can ride it like that then your knuckles must have no skin left from dragging on the floor... :shock:Open One+ BMC TE29 Seven 622SL On One Scandal Cervelo RS0 -
Haha.
Seatpost that high would have meant some very long legs, not arms. It's now adjusted downwards to just above the height in the top picture. Still a few things to tweak like front mech and cable routing - but to be brutally honest, it doesn't feel that different to the Boardman.0 -

Yep they are pretty similar. From all I've read its the higher quality frame (T800 for the pro carbon vs T700 for the standard road carbon which means lighter and stiffer I presume) and there is no real justification to change it, just fancied something new and the price was right.0

A waterproof ( we'll see ) peaked mavic cap.
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/mavic-roadie-h2o-cap-aw15/rp-prod135511
Nice colour scheme!
Be interested to hear what you make of it.
Arrived today so very quick delivery from chain reaction.
The cap weighs next to nothing, folds up very small, has a reflective strip running around it and fits nicely under my kask protone. I like it. Whether it's waterproof is another matter but first impressions are good.0 -
2 pairs of Nukeproof disc pads, don't need them yet but with winter approaching I want to be able to replace pads quickly rather than wait for CRC to deliver.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

Finally caved in and ordered this (Last one in a 54 it would seem) :
Realise it is not the ultimate vfm or light bike, but I find it a very nice looking machine.
Probably look better with black wheels down the line.
Arrived yesterday!
Mahoosive box, fully built up, just had to straighten the bars and rotate them upwards.
Lovely looking bike to my eye, mudguards seem to be aluminium which is a nice bonus, hopefully no cracking, and no rattles that I can see.
Looks nicer than the picture imho, it almost is a British racing green - very unusual.
Yet to fit pedals or take out for a spin, will have to wait for the weekend at earliest
Planning to run the heavy wheels for a couple of years, and then hope there is more than the seemingly 3 factory offereings available, OR might try and build my own - fancy some yellow rims!Felt F70 05 (Turbo)

Pair of Vittoria Open Pave CG, regretted selling the last pair I had, easily the best tyre I've used in winter conditions and proved so at Flanders this year.
Ordered in the hope they would fit under the full metal fenders on the CAAD8, but thinking they could go on the R3 anyway if they didn't. Was surprised to find they fit no trouble. So now I need another set to go on the R3. Drat2020 Reilly Spectre - raw titanium
2020 Merida Reacto Disc Ltd - black on black
2015 CAAD8 105 - very green - stripped to turbo bike

The departed:
2017 Cervelo R3 DI2 - sold
Boardman CX Team - sold
Cannondale Synapse - broken
Cube Streamer - stolen

OK, so I've ridden them wet and dry now and really like them. Rain was coming down quite strongly yesterday, but my shoes were still very dry when I got home, the elastic at the top seems to do a very good job of keeping water out. Nicely warm, well fitted and the lights were still working too.
Only annoyance is that the switch for the lights is very sensitive so you'll switch the modes many times over whilst wrestling them onto your shoes.0 -

Do you ride with SPDs or other sort of cleats? I find the bigger more out and proud cleats allow more waterproof shoecovers - ie they can go underneath the shoe a bit; whereas the more mtb sort with recessed cleats need to end on the welt of the sole and never really work. If you are riding SPD and keeping dry in the rain of this week PLUS the dinky little light then my credit card is about to get some more exercise0 -

Got wiggle to price match on a castelli alpha jersey in red/black. I've already got the laurel/black one but I've dropped a stone since May so I'm hoping I'll fit into a smaller size and I like the look of the red one.0

And less reliability. I feel for you as I know around 8 or 9 people with vectors. all have had issues. get them back to the vendor and get a quarq or power2 max. I wish I were kidding. 2 I know have the vector 2's and have seen no improvement. when they work they are fine...0
