One of the tallest cycling teams ever !
Now that's what I call a team! I'd be very interested to see what size frames they all use. I'm guessing the biggest guys on 58's on the basis that pros tend to ride smaller. Would they go as low as 56?0 -

No stage win = classics disaster
Stage win(s) = lower classic win
Podium + stage win(s) = monument podiums and/or lower classic win
GC win + stage win(s) = monument win(s)
Every year from 2006-2013 follows those rules.
Whereas 2005 doesn't0 -

Cheers BS0 -
Very cheeky attack by Belkin but always doomed. Chapeau to big Tom there was plenty of daylight between himself and Roleandts at the end.
Looks like the deeps section rims are earning their corn in this race.0 -
OPQS looked like they absolutely dominated that stage, hardly anyone left at the end, coming in in ones and twos.
Love it0 -

absolutely. It looked smashed to bits. They look so strong at the moment.0 -

It's quite a weak field.
Lefevre's made it clear this is basically the classics A team.
You'd expect them to be bossing it.0 -

Today's TT is a nice new addition; Tersptra and Boonen should both be good over 10 km. Boom's 30 seconds back, too much I think0 -
Well you can only race against those that turn up. I also thought that Lotto had brought a decent team. Roleandts has been there or thereabouts for both stages so far. Hopefully some good pics from today's TT0

Cycling weekly suggesting Stannard for a podium in today's TT. I remember he time trialled well over the 10 miler in the ToB last year. thoughts anyone?0
-
He came here as leader and I wouldnt be surprised if he jumped on the top step of that podium after the TT although it looks like Tom and Nikki will be firing and are mean TT riders when they want to be.Contador is the Greatest0
-
Agreed. I do wonder if it had been a TTT how well OPQS could have done today. Their whole team seem in good form I can well imagine they would be untouchable.
Is it dedicated TT bikes today or are they doing a Dubai?0 -

Fantastic picture and great to see the skill and precision of how these guys can ride. The stage 1 break was down to 10 seconds at one point but the crosswinds meant that even elite pro's couldn't bridge the gap without going too far into the red.0
