I got the first stage live on Sunday and I'm in the IOM. Can anyone else help us here?

So I take it this isn't on TV at all? That Eurosport link that had all the fixtures on no longer works :-(
  • not on Eurosport in UK,
CyclingFans has links to live feeds, use 2cnd line as first are geo-restricted.

Van Keirsbulck going great and still only 22 years of age. What an education he'll be getting at OPQS - how to TT from the likes of Martin, and how to ride in echelons and on cobbles from the likes of Boonen.

The past three days suggest he's a good student.

Never heard of him...google suggests he has been riding for Quick Step since 2011 so he has had three years there (and very very little to show for it). I assume they are building him up quickly but surely not a super talent otherwise he would be at the fore.

  • He's having a good Tour here, showed well on Stage 1 as well.

Perhaps a little too dismissive! Been keeping an eye out since he turned pro. You don't turn pro for QS at 19 if you're a complete donkey.

He may be no Sagan, but if he turns out to be another Vandenbergh, Chava or Devolder figure - they have a gem. At any rate it's good to see young blood up there in these types of racing conditions.

    That's certainly true.

Agreed here. He will be loyal to them as well. Nearly 2m and 85kg - some bulk.

Will keep an eye out for him when the big races start.

He was billed as the new Boonen when he turned pro. That hasn't materialised, but he's riding very strong here, and I wouldn't be surprised if he'll show something in the classics this year
  • Congratulations to this chap. Hadnt even thought of him but then he is the Aussie TT champ where he put in a storming ride. He has some serious definition on his calves.

Thanks Gren but it's not working for me that one, some IISPassword message whatever that means!
  • I watched it on tv, having recorded it.
The stupid thing is that it's put out on Bein's free to air channel, but their stream link is restricted.
However, there have been a number of live streams available:

Coverage has usually started around the 12-30-40pm mark.

I remember a piece in ProCycling the year before he turned pro, heralding him as something he's not quite turned into yet, but he's certainly got potential

Don't forget he can also learn from Cav too.

Boonen beats Greipel to take the 4th stage.

Excellent tv coverage, back to the studio with 3 ams to go, we cut back just in time to see Boonen crossing the line.
  • Stage finished before English feeds were even up.
Two years after the ASO cedes the tv rights and the race coverage is in the toilet.

The individual time trial is putting a new parameter into the formula though (there's only ever been a TTT before). We shall see if it holds up.
