Has GONE!!!

I was really[;)] going to try it today, now I'll never know if I could have done it, tried it twice - fell off twice and had lost my bottle.

We did the full set of blacks in to 1hr 50min today. Riding the red on its own last week we managed 1hr 10min still aiming to get it in done in less than 1hr.

Was very wet on the ground today with some deeeeeep mud!!

Off to Lake District in a couple of weeks (troutbeck) we are thinking of trying out the garburn pass or maybe just grizdale?

That's the one, with a 10ft[;)] drop the other side, they have just smoothed it out so is really easy now!

Well said. I had visions of a hard problem but didn't realise I had ridden it until the end. They should have left it in as it's not to hard but still challenges some peoples skills of turning,braking and doing an obstacle all at once.

it was nothing... just all the gay people brake really hard for it and made a huge braking bump then they chickened out round the left and eroded the bank.. all for a 3-4 inch step!!!!!

Cazz, you don't need a FS to do LLandegla. I did it on my Hardrock with RST forks and cable discs! Thats Inc the black runs as well.

Okay, so it's Les Gets then.

I'll be interested to hear how you get on and what trails are particularly good. I'll also look forward to the tyre reports and the photos.

I'm off to Morzine with Stu555, SLW, Jonny and a few others next month. I'm sure we'll be dropping by Les Gets. I'm just trying to get my head around things as I've been there plenty of times on skis and it's probably not quite as quick to juwt nip over a few valleys for lunch.

I never noticed the drop off?? i went last year and again about 8 weeks ago, i did the black runs, drop off was there one??? well if there was it wasnt very big!!

as for a forum ride!! if its on a sunday i will be there!! if its the odd weeks of the financial year i might be able to bring some one from birmingham if anyone wants a lift!! just bring something to eat on the way!! (odd weeks as my brother works those and he will want to come the others!!)

As for type of bike my brother completed it on a saracen xray1!!!!!! and loved it!!

ride it hard and keep it fun!!!
